I can confirm it works on Mavericks.  Kari's compiled plenty of Mac wallets, I think you can trust him.

I did not find any proof, and no flaw in the code so far and this is just wild speculation but maybe it is worth a posting.

One of the seednodes from the OP, "87.121.52.144" is in the same network like one of GhostCoin's initial seednodes which was "87.121.52.18". Interestingly the Seed-Nodes from Ghostcoin have now been removed from the OP...

You can check for yourself:

Do a "ping seed2.ghostcoin.org" in a DOS-Box and you'll get "87.121.52.18"

Then do a

whois 87.121.52.18

and you'll get a Bulgarian Provider.

Do the same with 87.121.52.144 (which is the Seednode from THIS OP) and you'll get the same Provider from Bulgaria.

Might just be a coincidence.. Don't know.. Just wanted to clear things up before anyone screams scam Smiley

I ordered these 2 nodes from a guy here on bitcointalk  Wink

it was cheaper then renting them myself  Wink

So I guess the ghostcoin guy thought the same thing...

I have nothing to do with ghostcoin, I didnt even knew it existed until you posted about it  Cheesy

This is my regular nickname btw  Wink

lol dude...who belive this shit?

try next without so stupid mistakes

For the record, I will say this one more time. I am not the ghostcoin dev.

I rented this node for a minimum of 3 months for 0.075 btc Wink

I wil be gone for the next 2-3 hrs...  My wife needs some attention as well  Cheesy

So far everything seems to run smooth  Smiley

Feel free to PM me with any kind of questions, I will check with my cellphone once in a while  Wink

so you have some proof you can show then?

Ok just wanted to make sure the folks know about..

I did not even know you can rent nodes ?! Smiley

Then time will tell.. There are no obvious flaw's in the code, the max reward "flaw" is also not there.. Looks good at first sight

What % is the premine on this ?

~5% total

~3% for future developments / projects / bounties

~2% for communityfunds, wich will be held by a community member, we are in talk with a sr. member about this, see the op  Wink

We will only sell Glow to a private investor, We know dumping coins on the market isnt helping a coin to move forward. We already talked to a few people about this concept.

But most added features will be build by ourselves Smiley

addresses and blockchain will be up soon, you can check all the premine movement that way

We decided to go this way, because we dont want to host a IPO, wich is basicly a sell of a premine. We like to create more transparency and ivolvement with the altcoin community Smiley

3m coins after pow and 175k premined? Thats 17%.

or you could call it 5.7% because 172000/3000000 = .057333333

Ah finally the first block..

Looks good, will have a closer look at the source now Smiley

I just got a block too. Always reassuring to see. On my first glance through the code, the proof of work block reward schedule does seem to match what's in the ANN:

Block 0-3: 34400
Block 3-249: 10
Block 250-1249: 200
Block 1250-2249: 300
Block 2250-3249: 400
Block 3250-4249: 200
Block 4250-5249: 300
Block 5250-6249: 400
Block 6250-7249: 200
Block 7250-8249: 300
Block 8250-9249: 400
Block 9250-10249: 200
Block 10250-11249: 100
