"The amount exceeds your balance" error

I had a tick on send as zero fee if possible, I always had it on and it transferred within 1-2 hours, but now it just stuck on 0/unconfirmed.

"Pay only the required fee" was unchecked as I read the tooltip and it said there is a chance of never getting it.

But in "send as zero fee" it says it may take long, but no chance for forever gone ;d

1-2 days is fine to me, it is just strange that it didn't arrive as usual.

Should I just wait few days or there is something wrong?

As the network increases, the daily transactions also increase. Meaning that the miner will mine/confirm the transactions with a higher fee first, then you transaction which has 0 fee.

First huge market correction since holding gobyte and the price has done fairly well compared to other masternode coins,
we made a low in btc around 350ksats and have since come back up over 400ksats.

Shows there is major support for this coin going forward, the price action is very similar to other masternode coins in that when
btc drops there is less volatility because there isn't as many speculators in these markets.

Also want to say that the recent fud is only fud and gobyte is a legitimate coin with solid team and future.

The price will be up and down, it is common in crypto currency. I have seen gobyte touch 3.7BTC/masternode and go down to around 0.9 BTC/Masternode ad then go up again touch almost 5 and now back down again. As long as the developer is supportive and create a progress , don't worry.

Simply delete the *.blk files in your AppData/gobytecore folder then add the nodes into the gobyte.conf file and then open the wallet and click reindex.

Did you find the wallet backup files? I didn't install in default directory, so mine were not in the app\roaming directories.

If you can find where it has installed data, just shut down your wallet and copy one of the automatically created backups from when you know you had coin.

For instance, my install directory was d:\Program Files\(GoByte_0.12.1.3)Windows64. After copying the back wallet to wallet.dat in that directory, I went to a command line in that directory and entered

gobyte-qt.exe -datadir="thatdirectorynamefromabove"[ENTER]

The wallet then caught back up to several weeks of blockchain and then processed my transactions stored in that backup.

Why the software seems to self destruct is uncertain. I did not have a system outage or restart today and yet there was a point where I realized the wallet was no longer running and when I restarted the wallet, it was empty.

I hope this helps. The problem is fixable!

backing up wallet.dat, deleting all files, install wallet again, copying and pasting your backup (wallet.dat) into the roaming\gobyte folder, restarting wallet.
It will be synced.
