Also, Grin withdrawals are not yet enabled in Poloniex and the price is also trading higher than the exchanges that first listed it like Hotbit or Bitforex. I would avoid it.

As a matter of fact, yesterday I was surprised to find withdrawals disabled on Hotbit, Bittrex & Poloniex.
KuCoin will be offline for hours later today.

I don't think the logo matters much, make a different one and the devs might slap it on their post, it is open source.
It is not too bad with original avatar of Grin coin, that makes me laugh a lot.
Projects always can rebrand or redesign their avatars.
Later, when Grin coin team feel that they have to redesign it, they will certainly do it.
For now, I feel fine with Grin coin's avatar. **

The logo suck me what a terrible they have it need to get changed. Supply of this coin is still increasing so it will become big challenge for this to get stable on current price. I have some coins but waiting to see when it will get listed on big exchanges.

I used Crypto Bridge to buy shit coins when they dip, and take profits later.
cryptobridge for shitcoins to btc

What's happened with you and Coinbase, Kraken?
Did you get their bad supports to claim fork coins, or anything else?

I got fucked by Coinbase during the bullrun and same with kraken so they can go to hell in my book.

Grin Coin has been listed and lively traded on Poloniex exchange, that is formerly the largest exchange around two years ago.

It's the welcome message from Poloniex for Grin coin.

Poloniex is excited to be one of the first major exchanges to host this much-anticipated new coin. Happy trading!
Any exchanges without KYC yet? They all seem to require submitting information I don't trust them to keep secure.

Bitmesh
Bitforex
I always thought Bitforex was KYC, I guess I have my list of exchanges I usually stick to.

they have KYC but unlike poloniex ($0.00 USD daily limit if no KYC), in those two exchange you can buy/sell, deposit/withdraw. although i don't know how much is allowed for no KYC accounts.

Also, Grin withdrawals are not yet enabled in Poloniex and the price is also trading higher than the exchanges that first listed it like Hotbit or Bitforex. I would avoid it.

@kingcolex. More people will want to mine and hold Grin in 25 years once it reaches a high level of adoption which it was designed to do and once inflation is under 5%.

Bitcoin's monetary policy incentivizes hoarding. This restrains adoption. Grin's monetary policy might push the price down in the next 25 or 30 years, however this encourages circulation of the coin and spending. This facilitates adoption.

I reckon its developers learned what's good and bad for a cryptocoin and copied the good parts.

I'm just started to learn about Grin today. This was the first time I heard about it. And as I see there is a lot interest towards this coin from the community. What are the main advantages of this blockchain and why everyone is so excited about it? The price of the coin also makes me astonished...

I don't think that will be easy to do, especially with a coin that doesn't have a gui or windows wallet yet.

It is my impression that this is deliberate. Don't ask me why. Reasoning can be quite divergent.

They are working on the windows wallet.  Bitgrin guys already grabbed the code and released it.

It certainly could be. Maybe they're trying to keep the noobs away since it's beta quality software a this point.

Over three months after the start of Grin coin, I thought that the Grin coin will be one of the most deserved altcoins to invest in 2019.
Moreover, Grin coin might move upwards significantly in the top 50 on Coinmarketcap.com over time, when more coins are available in its total circulating supply and the price of Grincoin increase.

decentralized and autonomous, great
this means that the project has been very much in the process of developing it, it seems that the team is also very confident even without excessive investors with the use of autonomous projects, brave enough to say it, but hope you successfully

I own 6GB cards in this case I can not mine GRIN, will it be that in the future we will have mining for 6GB and 4GB cards? thank you!
Me too.
I got same issues as yours because I have 4 rigs (6 AMD cards per rig), but I unfortunately can not mine Grin because those cards have only 4GB in memory.
I wish someday experts will release new mining tools which allow 4 GB memory cards can mine the coin officially, or release a guide on how to setup virtual memory to mine Grin with only 4 GB in memory.
For now, I have only one option, trading Grin coin on exchanges and try to accumulate as many Grin coins as possible.

Meh, shitload of conjecture argued as if it were facts as usual.

Quote
The money supply grows more slowly over time, so the decline decelerates into a small tail reward and thus a dubious level of security

Bullshit.
Yeah it doesn't make too much sense now does it? If the security was low then difficulty would be low too and people back to mining.

Anonymint read through all the replies here, and has posted some rebuttals. He's asked me to link to the following post:

Infortunetly, the windows wallet wasn't a Dev's priority. I found this project http://www.superlinear.io/ promising to be a Native Grin wallet implementation for Mac, Windows, and Linux.

Strange little piece of text there.

"Will be 100% open source AT LAUNCH"

I wonder why they plan to go closed source.
Nice catch Wink
I didn't notice that it will be an open source wallet only at the time of lunch. I did a lot of reseaches but find nothing about it. If you have any information regarding this, please share it here. Am really interrested to test the first win wallet as am still a win user.
