So if I want to mine at the block factory, I need to donate to them?

Also, setting up a config file for minerD, whats the command line look like for neoscrypt? Is it the same as for regular old scrypt? I have this set up for TBF:

minerd.exe -o stratum+tcp://stratum.gun.theblocksfactory.com:3330 -u  -p

Edit: and also, pretty much all of the pools in the OP are toast.

What are you mining with, CPU, AMD GPU, or Nvidia GPU?

Nope, you can mine with official cgminer or cpuminer.

That is just news for Nvidia GPU miners, there is a new CCminer mod for neoscrypt, which does 150khs already,

100% share acceptance using the various neoscrypt pools at "The Block Factory" with this difference attached to username "username_diff128" Shocked

For you, download the most update CPUminer from this thread:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/nsgminer-v094-the-fastest-neoscrypt-gpu-miner-712650

Create a bat file and use this command line for windows:

minerd -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum.gun.theblocksfactory.com:3330 -O usernamer.1:password

And mine away Grin

Just a reminder: a Neoscrypt CCminer is underdevelopment for Nvidia GPUs like 750TI

The Block Factory Neoscrypt mining pools using 128Diff is achieving 150khs per 750TI GPU as an example.

Early access is avaliable for BTC pledges, very low pledge level. Crowdfunding campaign is nearly finished.

Personal Message djm34 for pledges to gain early access.

Main thread is: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/neoscrypt-algo-for-ccminer-and-nvidia-card-call-for-donation-916336

Thanks Grin

That's excellent news for the Nvidia crowd, which has pretty much been cast aside for neoscrypt since lately the advancements have been kept private and for profit..

Have you guys looked at getting listed over at cryptopia? It's a pretty sick site.

Requested to get on the voting list..

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/HomeAction/Voting

Several of us have requested it already.

Well, apparently they finally got enough requests to pay attention, and it is now up for vote!!  Smiley

Vote early and vote often.  Or somebody mine a bunch of that DOT coin, whatever that is...

Hahaha Dot is the old KimDotCoin. It was named after the guy created Kim.com. There was talks of coin devs being backed by Kim himself, but he instead ended up backing a Chinese scam coin. The Dot devs told him to fuck off as a result, and I believe they are the ones that actually created Cryptopia as well. I know one of the chief backers of Dot personally, and he was pretty crushed about the whole kim thing. Oh well.

My impression was that DOT and Cryptopia were involved somehow.  What you said makes sense, and using of the coin on an exchange, is a way to keep the coin circulating.

Well, the mining side of things is looking up as multiminer now supports NeoScrypt.

It also supports multi-protocol usage at one time, so it should be easy to run newer and older GPU's at the same time, on the same rig, mining neoscrypt.

I will try to test it out this upcoming week if I can dig up an older GPU to test it on, as I have been running multiminer for months because it and BFGminer is/are the most consistent mining software for my asics.

I have a question. Does anyone know of any Gun shops or Gun ranges that accept Guncoin as payment? Been looking around and I can't find any.It would be great to have a list of them.

Unfortunately noone is accepting guncoin at this point.  So while it has a well established following and miners, it has no following in the sales field.

I'm hearing mixed results on people using this..  Some are getting decreased speed, while others are seeing increased speed, but running high CPU temps.

Anyone that tries this, be sure to give feedback.  If there's bugs, they need to get back to the developer to get worked out..

Thanks for the link and heads up.
