Just an update on our collaboration with Team Mango Android development, creators of Mangocoinz.com [MGZ] @mangocoinz

Everything is progressing very well, and we expect to be testing the Android wallet App for HamRadioCoin sometime next week, provided progress continues without issue, we expect to have a public release soon...

You made it first - good to be in touch again!

I've been totally overbooked handling a number of takeovers of coins abandoned by their developers, starting up the 420 Alliance etc. Would absolutely need some capable people to whom I could outsource at least part of the work. I have found a superb young entrepreneur with a wide range of skills covering everything from server administration to PR, but there's just so much to do (and so much potential to tap to) that having a proper organization set up is absolutely mandatory.

I'd also like to initiate serious discussions about having backup arrangements in place for 2-way full duplex emergency transmission of not just HAM but other crypto currencies as well - including the mighty Bitcoin itself.

Although many seem to happily disregard the possibility of something happening that would break the Internet to an extent that would cause extensive forking, I as well as anyone with HAM backgrounds knows for a fact that it's only a matter of time until a major CME or any other natural or man-made event is going to disrupt the communications enough to cause huge problems for all block chain based currencies.

I believe most following the HAM thread have already seen this article, but I'll repost it anyways:

The HAM community would become instant heroes of the whole crypto currency scene if they are able to help not if but when the problems manifest.

Altcoin.Center's addnode seed system is able to cope with some level of traffic problems using Tor as a backup communications channel between the US and the European servers. However, that won't help if the Internet traffic between the continents grinds to a full halt.

What would be needed is a number of "bridges" for the selected coins, formed by at least two HAM stations. The ultimate setup would consist of two radios at both ends, and a software that would split the TCP protocol into two separate streams so that the half-duplex nature of radio communications would not slow the communications down too much.

Each coin/chain would of course need a connection(s) of it's own, so the question of which currencies would be assisted is rather significant. The Ham Radio Coin would naturally be the one to start with, followed by Bitcoin and Litecoin.

I found a licensed amateur nearby the A.C office and would be willing to do some R&D regarding this matter. Is the HAM team interested in creating a backup solution with me that would be of use to the whole crypto scene?
