Excellent work ! Great introduction video Smiley
Looking forward to heatland.fi too!

Great introduction video? What exactly is introduced there. It just spells out HEAT, has some epic music and shows exactly one screenshot. Also 3D renderings of the logo. What exactly is that supposed to introduce? Fuck even the Dogecoin To The Moon video is an better introduction to HEAT. Having doges cracking math with GPUs and shit. Look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=000al7ru3ms
Fucking awesome. Look how Doge creates the coin in the beginning. Better programming skills than svante and deKlerk combined.

Also guys, heatland.fi ? Like anyone would use this fuck coin.
Still not convinced over here Svante and deKlerk.

HEAT IS A FUCKING SCAM!

Looking forward to heatland.fi too!

Be careful.....
setting up a site which is under maintenance requires nothing
Paying a dude 10 dollars on fiverr to create a video which takes him a day means nothing.
Only get excited when they released the client & source code.

Everything else could be a ploy to appear that there is some progression when the only progression that matters is the Heat platform. They then can leverage all these little things plus release some shitty code to appear more grandiose than they are. I have seen this before. The platform release is the only thing that counts for now.

Now I know why you defend no matter what crap they pull off! You have already put a lot of effort in your business with heat and when heat will not be released all this effort was for nothing! This is so sad...

Just like you, I took a leap of faith and invested. But unlike you, I have used my energy to create and follow through my decision. Not spill out something negative, that anyone can do.
MAn I wasn't trying to be mean when I said this is so sad. I meant the fact that the heat team disappointed all of us where ever they could. This is the sad part.

even in the worst case scenario how many coins have held high market caps or pumped over the years with 0 features other than basic blockchain function? the altcoin market is all about speculation and hype. augur, iconomi, waves, golem, digixdao, lisk all hold high market caps for months based on speculation, promise of upcoming features, and money collected for development. get out there and start hyping/pumping. blockchain 3.0 unlimited scalability to the motherfucking moon

Buterin was the first person who ever talked about unlimited scalability. Fat ponces like u terrorize this forum with their gibberish posts, talking about technology thats not gonna work in practice. U are a sofa boy that accidentally stumbled upon this forum after turning off parental controls when ur dad was off. U gotta get over it and go work therapist in a bedlam, thats the place where u can apply ur skills better. Havent u noticed, every second crypto has revision number next to its name. Heat 3.0 doesnt exist as of the time of this writing, but the thread title suggests its gonna come out when everything is finalized up. Now ask urself, do u really care what number it is next to the coin name? Do u really believe Heat 3.0 is gonna pull the rug from under ethereum or bitshares? U are a lunatic if u think this heath ledger shit is gonna make any new movements this year, and u know why but keep spamming this place with ur dumb posts. Heath ledger is an actor in the first place, who the heck would buy a token from an actor that passed away?

5 days past the launch date.

No formal update on the status of Heat launch.

No real apology to nervous investors.

They only really responded due to the C-cex ultimatum which accounts for over 20% of funds.

This just feels so familiar to the countless scams i have seen on bitcointalk.

Their final deadline is at 26 of January as stated from Eliphaz Fimk . I hope that this time they won't screw things as they will also lose a big portion of the raised funds .
And something that came up to my mind , what will happen with the ccex coins in case they don't deliver wallets , will we be heading to a new distribution ? All investors will get a % of those ?

Lol no, its only for C-cex investors.
The escrow is an independent agreement between Heat & C-cex regarding C-cex users purchasing heat through its exchange.
If you didn't buy Heat using C-cex, you will have to chase them in the carribean.
Let me know how it goes.

I think what he meant how the shares of ccex will be devided once they "return" the heat that was purchased on there. This means if ccex had 20% of the shares we would get another 1.2 multiplier to our funds. BUT as I know the heat scumbags they will try to keep the heat tokens which is of curse another breach of contract because it was said that all the tokens will be divided along the investors... If ccex gets out or not, I want my money back! Has anybody spoken to alcurex? Again it pisses me off that WE have to contact alcurex. But in this shithole called heat you can not expect the heat teamm to give us any information on that. You just get used to them not responding to anything. Man I hate heat already! Give me back my fucking money!!!!

Oh

"What's curious is that, in many cases, incompetence does not leave people disoriented, perplexed, or cautious.  Instead, the incompetent are often blessed with an inappropriate confidence, buoyed by something that feels to them like knowledge. A whole battery of studies … have confirmed that people who don't know much about a given set of cognitive, technical or social skills tend to grossly overestimate their prowess and performance”

- David Dunning

FYI my last post was satirical. You seem to be master of the universe, if you know where to find any technicalities on heat don't hold back to tell us where to find them, because the heat team was asked and didn't provide anything.

Here is something I just found in the whitepaper:

"HEAT as a cryptocurrency employs radically new approaches to the way  cryptocurrencies are built, the most notable of these being complete removal of the embedded database" (yes it is in bold in the whitepaper)

And then later in the same whitepaper:
"The replication layer is an event based optional and configurable event sink mechanism where you run HEAT together with a MySQL [or another brand of] database server. This server can be either on the same machine or somewhere else on the local network."

This is all so great. They have made so many contrary statements that they can basically say anything and find a reference to that somewhere.

These statements are not at all contradictory.  You understand some words, but you lack comprehension.

What is described here is two separate pieces:
1) The P2P server, which remains barebones and optimized for the singular task of running the blockchain protocol.  This includes memory-mapped data to allow very quick and lightweight access.

2) An optional replication layer.  This layer will allow service providers to offer scaled database solutions to serve as many lightweight clients as their infrastructure allows.

Why cram all of this into a single piece of software?  This is a smart approach.

Hooah!

+1000
Dude the point is that the first statement is pure marketing blabla...

Not at all.  Is a technical improvement which allows much greater throughput of transaction processing.

And by moving database needs to a separate replication layer, there is no database lock in.  Somebody could set up a multi-server super database cluster to serve a very large number of light clients.

You really don't get what they're trying to do, do you?
Oh you mean like in bitcoin a lightclient? But much more centralized?
