I am not a newbie, if this investment fails it will cause me a considerably bigger loss than what you stated, and rest assured my approach to this matter is very much reasonable.
Your lack of respect does not put you in a favorable position when it comes to stating an argument or responding to such.  I am not crying but stating my opinion regarding the current state of things considering everything that happened and also things that did not happen for various reasons.
Most of us are intelligent sound minded individuals and as such we try to be critical of this affair in a realistic and constructive manor if possible. That is also my orientation here. I do not try to prevent people from expressing themselves but state my own opinion while respecting other opinions presented here.

for us is 1000 better to release a working product, thats the minimum, which was not achieved now. Its better delivering  promised working features, because otherwise the people will be unhappy with Heat even its getting fixed later. So when its taking another half year its ok, as long the devs dont run out of money to give their full support to the project.

I've actually never invested in a crypto project that set an exact date for release, then released it on that date.

Iconomi made this mistake too.  Said they would release on 28 Dec and still no release.  They have a team of several devs working on that too.

Lisk did the same thing, announced an exact date, then ended up releasing code that was not yet stable 1 month later.

Ethereum didn't give an exact date then just released 9 months later when it was ready.

Waves also delayed several months.

Komodo ico platform BTCD swap also delayed release of coins by over 1 month.

This is typical for software development.  Dennis could be stuck on some bit of code and reaching out to other java developers for help for all we know.  Last update from him was on 27 December, so it would be nice to have another development update at this point:

everyone who invested more then that is reasonable enough to analyse the situation in a reasonable fashion.

there were dev updates. they have a load of coding work in the back-end to do. the release announcements very false as usual here. you have to get used to that.

From the side of every individual who invested in this project there is a realistic and justified fear/concern that his invested funds are at very tangible risk.
Of course any investment in general and in crypto might provoke some fears as it bears some measure of risk, but in the case of the HEAT project we see more reasons to feel this way.
I think that the only side here who is at fault for the current situation is the team of the project, Svante and Dennis. It is evident that their actions or lack of necessary measures have created lack of trust and major concerns that they are in fact with fraudulent intent.
The more time passes in such state the more the concerns become a sense of conviction that this is in fact a dishonest attempt to collect funds.
So many projects in this crypto sphere, so different from each other, with different teams working on them. But for a project to progress and evolve as it should some things are similar. There are certain measures a team behind a project needs to take to show the people who backed it with their money and trust that their funds and trust are respected and they are in good hands. Past occurrences and cumulative facts show this is not implemented in the case of HEAT.
I started my investment here with a good feeling that this project is strong and will progress to something great. That feeling was founded on both the idea and the actual presentation of info that was clearly provided by the team prior to the ICO (reporting of state of the project, dates to be expected for progression and so on). I trusted that they are giving facts and are honest about the contract that will commit both sides. Yes, the ICO was in fact a binding contract between the investors (as myself) and the people behind HEAT.
Today I can say with a heavy heart that I feel that many points in the contract where breached from the side of the HEAT team, while the investors completed their part as agreed upon.
I am not the one to jump with the big red "SCAM" letters. This is not my style nor do I believe this will bring the best results.
Nevertheless, I think that there are clear measures/actions that MUST be taken from the side of Svante/Dennis to prove with out a doubt that they are working on delivering what they committed to with honest intent.
If you know you can not deliver and you are "selling" false pretense of the contrary you are performing a fraudulent act - you are breaking the law
If you made a contract and you are not living up to your side of the deal - you are responsible by the law and there are implications.
I do not want this situation to escalate to a legal action against the above mentioned individuals. I still keep a shred of hope they can make things right. BUT, as time passes it seems less and less likely we will see a positive conclusion of this matter.
I wish to state it clear - if you can not deliver - come clean now, return funds invested to the best of your ability (this can be easily checked) and perhaps avoid criminal charges by the appropriate authorities. If you KNOW that you can deliver - show us by actions and prove it. Written code is proof. The only tangible proof in software dev work is code. all the rest is just empty statements given until there is actual code.
Svante, your words are meaningless if they stay as words. In such case, the more you say without proof the less people will believe you.
This is a serious affair. A substantial amount of funds was collected here. This will carry criminal charges if it is not concluded otherwise.
Let us avoid unpleasant outcomes for the sake of us all.
