Some transactions in the blockchain had coins coming from a lot of addresses. I am not sure if all of these addresses have to be verified, or only one?
One should be enough.

Can someone please advise.. I wish to create an account with my own custom passphrase. Is this possible?
Yes. At https://alpha.heatledger.com before logging in click on ADD ACCOUNT

Great! Thankyou. I participated in the ICO through Openledger.info. how can i collect my HEAT?

Went again to recheck, still says that my transaction is not verified...

You are then to send a payment from your ICO address to the confirmation address to confirm your ownership of that address. Confirmation is near instant and will be visible in the claim section.

After exiting the Claims screen, there is no where in the wallet to view status of claim made. Can you please make an online page showing accounts of all successful & failed claims?

Found this in SuperNet slack (heat thread):

When I opened my alpha wallet, there were still the testcoins (the 1000 I got for testing).

Will they stay on my wallet or do I have to switch the wallet from the test mode to the "real mode"?
The test coins will be gone, or they might remain in HEAT testnet. There'll be a visible and clear switch between testnet and mainnet when the mainnet is available. The test-heat aren't related to your actual HEAT tokens in mainnet.

Try to do the following:
1. Login to your HEAT wallet
2. Click "CLAIM YOUR HEAT"
3. Select ICO source
4. Insert your address
5. Click "Continue"
6. Check off "I have safely backed up my passphrase"
7. Click "Continue"
8. Now it should show you the addresses which are confirmed to your account.

So I got the ETH to my address and sent it back from ico address but it doesn't verify on the alpha wallet. It just keeps on checking. I used ethereum. Anyone else having problems with ETH verification?

Same here. I wrote an e-mail to the heat support yesterday, but no response until now. Will keep you informed when I get an answer.

Basically the delay must have been known to the devs beforehand.
Which brings me to the conclusion, that you ran out of money and lied to the community about the progress of your project.
This would also explain the hasty ICO, which you started shortly after opening the thread.
While your alpha looks really nice and the whitepaper is really good, youre actions on the community are not to be accepted.

For me, this means that I will sell my Heat tokens shortly after you release them and will not reenter. Period.

you have to bring the devs a little under pressure, then they start working again. its like an old machine which is stuck and you have to push again.

Looking up my transaction TO heat ICO, I can see that the BTC came from 4 different addresses.

Do I need to verify all of them, or just the first one?

I understand it is not possible to choose a 'from' address when sending BTC from a core client, how do I make sure the 0.00005 BTC actually goes out from the same address you guys sent it to?

Edit: I see how to do the second thing with "Coin Control."

Is there a way to use a specific Address in BTC Core? I just tried to send all BTC inside Core to the "Heat Address", but this was not possible.

....
When you receive 0.00015 BTC from Heat Ledger Ltd to verify your address, you have to chose "Coin Control Features - Input" and select the coins corresponding to the 0.00015 BTC (should be at the bottom of the list in your Bitcoin client. You have to wait for at least 1 confirmation). Then pay the amount 0.00005 BTC back to the address specified by Heat Ledger Ltd. I raised the fee to 0.00010, so that the total amount equaled 0.00015 BTC (same as I received). I used the Bitcoin Core client and it worked well.
....

Thanks, that was the Information I needed.

will we need to do anything with the Open.heat on bit-shares or the Heat tokens on c-cex.com?
You dont need to verify those as they are already bought using your account.

I am guessing those will become transferable after the blockchain goes live?
Yes after genesis they should behave like any other crypto in that regard.

Idea: After genesis block is created, a competition for the best paper wallet design.
