First of all :
- EU orders will be dropped in mailbox today so they leave tomorrow during the first hour.
- US orders will be dropped at the Post Office tomorrow morning as I need to retrieve a stamped custom form.
/!\ We do not send the tracking number to you by email any longer /!\ You should look for an automated email from : "LA POSTE <
[email protected]>"
They do not send it instantly after the creation of the tracking number. There can be a few hours in between.
Not sure what is going on....
January order email with tracking on Jan 20th... Yet order did not ship out until 2 weeks later.... and I still don't have the cards?
Thanks for sharing your concerns. Let me explain.
I absolutely agree and there's no excuse.
The release was on the 15th, you got the tracking information by the 20th but your parcel was left at the post on the 3rd of February.
(Also, please use the USPS tracking with the tracking info you got as it is more accurate in your case than the tracking link that was provided to you.)
Anyway, most of the orders were dropped off at the Post end of January/early February, around the same time.
I am conscious that the processing speed isn't as fast as you would expect; however it has been constantly delayed a bit since the beginning.
I admit it, until now it's been complicated for me to process orders efficiently.
Do batches of orders ? Make them all at once ?
Process orders individually but redo each step every time, order after order ?
I'm putting my process into question, constantly looking for improvements.
I'm not an expert in logistics, and I could learn a lot from Mantis Prime ways.
One good example of an improvement would be the paperboard envelopes.
They ensure the Coldkey packaging doesn't get bent during transit; I don't need to cut paperboard with cutter anymore and use tape to secure them.
It seems like a detail, but this detail ended up saving me from countless hours of cutting paperboard.
I'll explain what is going on : we are
growing.
We realized thanks to you all that what we do with Coldkey is viable, given that legislation & governments are slowly embracing crypto.
The next step will be to make Coldkeys for alts and advertise them in said alts communities. It is going to get more serious very soon.
Our roots on Bitcointalk will most likely help for sure !!
I became aware with the Contest / Bitcointalk Coldkeys that it will become increasingly difficult to keep up with the operation in those conditions (running the operation at my home).
I started looking for solutions to "scale up" and this is the reason why
I increased blocks size I rented an office space for the company.
We moved in it between the 24th-27th of January, and yes minerjones, your order fulfillment started at my place, but has been finalized in my new working environment.
Yes, it lacked profesionalism and this isn't what I want.
With the right environment, many great things can be accomplished.
As of now, there are two Coldkey releases ready, one being developed, but I won't make new Coldkeys apart from the History serie, as long as this isn't something that rolls out smoothly.
I say "we" as in a company, the "corporate we", but in the end I do
everything by myself (except for the artworks and Xprim777 helps with tweets and doing small bits of accounting).
Believe me, I would prefer to take time to spread awareness about Coldkey and work towards getting the agreements to sell crypto for fiat rather than handwriting in the packaging (my handwriting sucks) and make the parcels / print stick labels, on top of the actual production, which takes most of my time.
I'm not around anymore as I used to be, let it be in private chatroom or around the forum.
I manually double check that the address on the Coldkey, associated with the serial number, is the same than in my records, same for the AuthKey, so it's all good for loading & release.
I prefer to be late on the delivery rather than mismanage funds, addresses, authkeys, whatsoever. It's not a very fun time in my life because of the quantity of stuff to think of, but it tends to get better.
I'm working very hard right now and hopefully it will pay off someday.
Yes, sure. It will become much more stable and smooth when I hire someone to take care of a part of the whole process, but until then, I do my best.
It will most likely happen when we have raised some initial funding to expand further.
In late december / january, it became increasingly complicated for me to run the operation and do the production at my living place.
To be clear, this makes me
very confounded towards you all; I wouldn't like my order to take 2 weeks to be processed.
However I prefer to take a blame, face all sorts of consequences but state how things are, instead of fiding excuses and flee.
I'm thankful to every customer for your patience and support.
I'll do what it takes to stir this boat into better waters, please bear with me as I build & strengthen the operation.
You need to improve your order processing and logistics... it's almost March and I have not received the 1st of 3 orders.
"To be on time, means to be early.... you cannot be somewhere at a certain time unless you are there before that time"
Yes. I am aware of that and this is why I am delaying the rest of the Coldkey releases.
(Loaded
BTC & ALTs Coldkeys & some other surprises..)
Thank you for the "quote/inspirational advise".
It is very correct sir.
Also, that's one reason why the History Coldkey release will happen earlier in the month.
(Another reason is to have a BTC/EUR rate at release that is closer to the one on the Coldkey)
I want to ship these by the 4th of each month.
I got my Januar CK within 3 days because its in the EU i guess.. but the tracking ID did not update yet aswell, so I think its the same problem like you have.
Thank you for your feedback seek3r
Yes, well this is how I want to process orders and the way to do this fits me well.
Your order arrived in at the moment when I was finishing to fulfil them all.
I just finished that batch with your order.
nope. neither EU->EU is always fast. mine were shipped out on Jan 20 and arrived in Austria (not so far from France) on Feb 7. i don't need a tracking ID to see if my CK have arrived or not
i believe it's the parcel service used (but I seem to recall that we have already discussed this issue in the German board?
). but i'm a patient guy - atm, i'm waiting for some other collectibles much longer
Thank you haloxon for your patience and your feedback on that matter.
I'm grateful to you for your continuous business.
It's been a pleasure to serve you for many months now.
Soon, we will be offering a program to reward our most loyal customers.
I can already say that you're part of it, among some other patrons.
