How can I know more about your project?

Haha, we don't expect the HVC to be this volatile  Cheesy

We have described it in our White Paper in detail.
In short:
- customer payments can be in any currency
- customer payments are automatically used to buy HVC on the market at market price
- HVC are forwarded to computer owners

Since there will be a constant and inherent demand for HVC due to customer payments, the HVC will be much less volatile than other cryptocurrencies, which usually only depend on speculation.
So the HVC isn't a stable coin, but will likely be very solid and is expected to increase its value with growing customer numbers.
Interesting glad I ask it, I am not pond of reading whitepaper but will do with your project but it's still a long wait for us and the momentum is just right by that time if you keep up giving us answer to all our questions however repetitive it might you can build up a good number of community before the mainnet.

We try to answer every question  Smiley

If you don't like white papers, we also have a light paper, which is much shorter and less technical.
The documents are both found here: https://www.hivenet.cloud/resources

Yes, until the main net launch in Q4/2021 there is still some wait, but until then there will be all the time new test versions with an increasing amount of features Smiley

Hello HiveNet, could you please give a little description of your calculator.

What is Hours/Day ? If I select 1, does it mean my device will work 1 hour a day ? According to it, my gaming notebook generate a profit on almost 34 US dollars a day, while working for 1 hour. Even if it will work for a 24h day, $34 with low power consuming notebook is an amazing result.

Hi there,
it means that if you use HiveNet for 1 hour every day, you would earn about 34 USD per year.

Thank you for your answer. These 34 USD are constant and are based on HVC rate to USD ? What about price changes on the market? Does it mean that HVC is somehow a stable coin then? Smiley

"An example in short: If you are to receive HiveCoins in a value of 100 USD, then
if 1 HVC = 1 USD -> you get 100 HVC
if 1 HVC = 0.1 USD -> you get 1000 HVC
if 1 HVC = 10 USD -> you get 10 HVC"

Is gonna be madness, when person A gets 10 HVC, and person B gets 1000 HVC nextday and due to market instability on the third day they have 10 and 1000 USD for same work Smiley

We don't know the profitability of the project unless it gets in the market, the price that they are using are their projected price once it gets in the market, it could be lower or higher, it's the market that decides the profitability of the project and that calculation, so we'll see once it gets in the exchanges.

That's not accurate.
The price of computing power on HiveNet will be defined as described in the White Paper and depends on the cloud computing market.
There we have a very good and detailed understanding of the price that can be requested for computing power.
What's defined by the crypto market and exchange rates is the value of HiveCoins.
The reward you receive in HiveNet are HiveCoins which are equivalent to the specific USD value.
In our White Paper we explain how this is achieved.
Therefore, the reward is independent from the HVC market price (however, if you hodl the HVC the price development will affect you).
An example in short: If you are to receive HiveCoins in a value of 100 USD, then
if 1 HVC = 1 USD -> you get 100 HVC
if 1 HVC = 0.1 USD -> you get 1000 HVC
if 1 HVC = 10 USD -> you get 10 HVC

Hi there,

This is an important detail (per year), you need to specify it on your resource.

Well, it was always written in the first sentence below the result, just noone was reading it  Grin

Nevertheless, we have made it more clear now:

This is how it should be. There must be an incentive to participate in the test network otherwise you can turn on > view > turn off > forget.

That's likely what's going to happen, and they might even forget this project, people wants to be compensated and to share their experience from time to time and it's a good marketing for your project also, look at IDENA they are still in testnet but they have made a huge community of testers.
Yes, it is. Testers should be encouraged. This is done in 99% of projects . Otherwise, there will be no interested community. Accordingly, you can not count on raising funds for the project. I see weak management in this project, even since the bounty program. A lot of mistakes. As a result, the transfer of fundraising, a lot of ridicule and disbelief.

Different projects take different strategies.
We currently get enough feedback from testers even without offering hard incentives.

However, we still consider offering a different approach later on.

Try the different approach I'm sure you will double or triple the feedback and you will build a big community, it's worth trying that testnet continuously if there are compensations being offered so I'll wait for that new approach.

Very interesting project I have something to look forward when they launched their main net, when will the exact date of the launching, this has a potential to have a good value like Ring and IDENA , looking forward to reading more updates about the project.

HiveNet's alpha version has already launched and is available here: https://www.hivenet.cloud/download
The launch of our mainnet is planned for Q4/2021.
You can find the roadmap with further dates on our website: https://www.hivenet.cloud

That's still a long wait and hopefully by that time the world already recovered from this pandemic and the and the market will be ok by that time, it's hard to invest or support a coin if the market is not doing well and new projects takes a back seat, with the exception of good projects.

A good project is always a good investment. Irrespective of the market conditions.
With regard to the development time: In fact we are quite fast with our mainnet launch in Q4/2021. After all it's a complex software Wink
