I installed the v2 wallet, but unable to find any peers and thus can't synch chain. Any suggestions?

same here i also have issue i can't synch my new version i hope dev will update or give us info how this one will work. thanks in advance sir.

You guys clearly aren't looking very hard then. Despite my own multiple tests from multiple geographical locations having zero trouble with the wallet finding plenty of valid peers, there is also a VERY detailed list of peers available on the block explorer...which caches peer addresses for the past 24 hours and also give a nice button for displaying the list in a copy/paste format that you can dump into your conf file.

Were either of you mining post-fork with old versions? if so then it isn't that your new client cannot find any peers, but rather that your IP has been banned from the network for producing invalid blocks. If that is the case then there isn't much you can do but wait out the ban time (typically 24 hours).

That must be it, IP ban since I was not able to shut down wallet miner till this evening. On my laptop on different ISP, wallet connects and have 6 peers. I'll wait the 24 hours and try again. Thanks for the response.

PS. Does the version 2.0 wallet miner support multi-core CPU and HT? When using pool cpu miner 3.3.3 I was getting 400h, with wallet miner i was getting about 200h which leads me to think its not multi-core optimized.

Is the Block explorer working now? 11k is that our true hash?

The block explorer is up and current, I had some unexpected issues post-fork that I fixed today.

Regarding the nethash, I'm seeing a lot, and I mean A LOT of obsolete version peers being disconnected from the BE's node and my own node. I would hazard a guess that there are quite a few clients mining on older versions because they failed to update, thus their hashrate isn't being reflected anymore.

@Dev: Please fix "getblocktemplate" call

I'm looking into this, but don't have an immediate fix as of yet.

Because no sane miner will mine a coin that they cannot use to pay the bills... Even if you keep some because you believe in it, I am NOT going to sponsor the interest rate of others who choose to hodl at the cost of my power. As soon as the rest of my pre-86000 coins mature, I'm dumping the lot. If someone wants 11k, you can also just send me the value in BTC, and I'll just email you my wallet.dat file... We can always trade wallets, if Devs maintain this idocy...

Maybe someone can create a new Wallet and Core, and if we get 51% of the network to switch, we can overrule this fiasco...

Loaded and turned on the HODL wallet miner this afternoon, already HODL'd twice in six hours on my I7-2600 staking pc.
Hadn't seen that luck since early March.

It has been fun but at least temporarily hodl.blockquarry.com will be shutting down mining during this fork.  We may start back up after we investigate a few options but in the meantime I recommend using Suprnova.cc for mining, ocminer has been great to work with.

We are on the new wallet and will be leaving it running so people can still get their mined coins transferred.

Thanks

Can you lower the minimum payout balance?  Sorry to see you go.
