Anybody have Opteron 6380s on HODL ?
I am getting ~300 H/S each which is just over half what they do on Cryptonight -- this is with CPUMiner.
HODLMiner is about half as fast.

HODL miner is different mining algorithm. You cant compare it to Cryptonight. 300 H/S is nice

i can name about 5 other bad investments we both in. Fish
We are currently doing our best to develop new features and new ways to use the coin.
Don't forget that HOdlcoin is a community-driven coin.
If you have any ideas on how to raise the PR then feel free to suggest them.
That way, it wouldn't be your bad investment.
Increase block reward to make it more profitable...

I've decided to risk and use 3.0.2 regardless my anitvirus alert but about block sources I did not express myself quite exactly - how to add is a part of success but peers adresses are important too.. Hodl isn't my top prio coin - I know I could look for peers list myself but I have not enough time so I'd prefer to ask here.

How does look mining profitability of this coin now?
I remember it was one of the most profitable coin when it start, I wonder how it look now - when many other projects has its coin price decreased - maybe it is again relatively profitable now

There is almost zero volume so the price is dead. Any days that show more than $100 of volume seem to bump, that says to me if/when there is more awareness of this coin then it will explode in value. Now is the time to accumulate.

Hey,
Since the difference between 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 is a performance upgrade, it doesn't matter which version you use.
However, you should always use the latest wallet version, ignore the result of your anti-virus and just whitelist it.
What do you mean by "add new block sources"? do you mean peers?
if so, peers should sync alone after a few minutes and the wallet would start downloading the blocks.
you can add manually if you wish to by adding the line "addpeer=IP" in hodlcoin.conf (you have to create the file if it's not there).
(in Linux, ~/.hodlcoin and in Windows %appdata%/HOdlcoin)
