As promised, here's the Android Wallet brought to you by FreeTrade and AmiT.

It's a Coinomi for HOdlcoin build, relying on the bitcoinj library for HOdlcoin and it is in a Beta state.

Android (Beta): https://github.com/HOdlcoin/coinomi-android/blob/master/releases/coinomihodl1.0.0.apk

You'll need to download the file, transfer it to your device and install it.

We've got an issues tracker here for reporting bugs -
https://github.com/HOdlcoin/coinomi-android/issues

Our next steps will be naming the wallet, tidying up the remaining issues and getting a release on the Android Play Store.

April 2nd Announcement.

Today is really 2 announcements.

One - Java Library bitcoinj

First is the beta release of the bitcoinj library for HOdlcoin.
bitcoinj is a java library for working with Bitcoin. It targets SPV
light wallet functionality, ideal for use with mobile wallets

Previously this library was incompatible with HOdlcoin as it did not calculate
interest on the inputs to transactions. This release fixes that, so any projects
reliant on bitcoinj can now easily be ported to HOdlcoin.

Source: https://github.com/HOdlcoin/bitcoinj
JAR: https://github.com/HOdlcoin/bitcoinj/blob/coinomi-0.12/release/bitcoinj-core.jar

Two - Coinomi - Android Wallet

Coinomi is an Android wallet, built in Java and reliant on the bitcoinj code.
AmiT and I have been integrating the new library with Coinomi code and we will
have a beta release of a custom build of Coinomi ready for Thursday, April 5th.

This will allow you to use HOdlcoin on any Android device.

Nice work devs!  Not sure what to do with this news, but good to go!

I have a discrepancy. If I look at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hodlcoin/ it says the Circulating Supply is 164,342,925 HODL on 2/20/2018. That is way past when mining ended. However if I go to the wallet and use getmininginfo info it says 400,089 blocks have been mined that should put us around 20,004,450 + interest. Is there a way to see how much HOdlcoin is out there using the wallet? If I am correct coinmarketcap is way off on it's numbers. Someone should confirm the numbers and correct the website in the interest of continuity.

Q: the codebase of HODLcoin is 0.11.sth The BTC codebase has progressed since. Would it make sense to upgrade the HODLcoin base?

19k will not get you much with current buy orders at 36 sat, I would HODL them.

I made the mistake of selling off 100k in early December 2017 at 19 sat just before HODLday figuring it was going nowhere but then it jumped up. When it pumped up to the 400s in January I was very sad, LOL. HODLing my remaining coins and keeping an eye out for future spikes Cheesy

I have a proposal of a lock period of 15 days after mining. In the past, it was abysmal to set a hard lock of a year, but 7 - 15 days is rather optimal to keep the price stable and worthwhile.

In general, I know that it is to make users hold this coin for a long enough time. Do anyone agree?

hey there used to be a voting system for this , if its still working you can put it up there and share the url for voting

Thats ended long time ago. There was lock period for 1 year and we voted to end this cause is stupid/useless.

optiminer dev, if you're listening, can you kick the min amount up to 1HODL or something?  or make the payout customizable for an account?  the microtransactions are getting a little crazy at .5 HODL each.

+1 thats sound logical atm anything below 2-5 hodl is useless to send
