Is Yobit really the only exchange that has hodl listed?

The wallet there is always under maintenance...

Yep the other day I bought HOdl there and then when I tried to transfer it to my wallet the transaction failed and was cancelled so the HOdl is still sitting there. I guess I can buy more HOdl there but it is unsure if and when it will be stable to transfer it so I can lock it for interest. I really hope there would be another exchange where I can buy and transfer it wow. Today I saw a large drop in value on it for some reason.

You know I did submit a request at Poloniex for them to add the coin but so far no luck on that.

If anybody knows of an exchange to buy and transfer HOdl I would sure like to know about it  Shocked

Clearly you're a nutter and a lying asshat. I don't have to prove a damned thing to people like you.

Nope it's not. Nobody does hold this shit as holding hodl is irrational and goes against common sense. 100 perc of the entire supply being in the hands of one guy is a shitty perspective for mass adoption. Most part of those contacting me to prove they really hold hodl failed to pass the verification. None of them has been even close to debunk my statement.
I don't know how you arrived at your conclusion Synth (or why I'm bothering to disabuse you of it) but look at some other aspects of HODL, like, say, the whole Nutocracy thing.  If you look back in the earlier pages of this very forum you'll see various people (like me) arguing for and against the idea of Nutocracy, and then again arguing for and against the 1-year auto-hodl of mined coins.  And if you looked at nutocracy itself, you'd see the various addresses 'voting' on the issues like the auto-hodl (which got approved and is where we are now) and then 'voting' again more recently to get rid of the auto-hodl (which is pending development of that change).  Now, all the people making the arguments, and all the people 'voting' on nutocracy have a stake in the game (that is, own HODL), or else why would they bother?  And remember that you have to have coins to vote to begin with.

So, either there are a large group of people on here and involved with HODL who hold various amounts of HODL coins and who are actively voting with them, and buying and selling their coins on the exchanges, and HODLing their coins to maturity, and gambling with them on the casino site, and mining coins on the pool and solo, and discussing the progress of the coin....

Or, this is all an illusion being maintained by one person who has countless Bitcoin Forum accounts, countless HODLcoin addresses, countless exchange accounts, is actively trading HODLcoin on the exchanges with himself, making countless posts from the various forum accounts in discussions with himself, voting first for and then against himself on nutocracy, hosting a mining pool himself on which he connects countless computers of his own to mine the coins, and all for some unknown nefarious purpose.  And you have happened to stumble on this giant ball of mystical craziness and are the only other real person on this forum.

Now then, which option sounds more reasonable?

Were you making large withdrawals?  Any other exchange I'd guess you hit their hot wallet limit, and that they'd need to bring some cold wallet funds online . . . but this is yobit. Could be anything.

The first three withdraws were $20 USD and went through right away and this final draw that won't process was also $20USD...

The amount of HOdl was about 11,000 coins give or take...

I hope there will be another exchange besides Yobit for HOdl coins Smiley

I was able to process 3 HOdl withdraws at YoBit without any problems but then the 4th withdraw didn't process. I contacted their support and they said the wallet is in maintenance mode and they are working on getting it fixed. With all that said can anyone possibly recommend another crypto exchange where I can buy HOdl? I submitted HOdl to Poloniex and asked them to add it but so far that hasn't happened.

On a side note I would like to thank whoever got the HOdl website back up and running and also a thank you to whoever it is that keeps the block explorer running Smiley

U dont need to withdraw larger amounts of crypto to bump into their daily withdrawal limitation, u can just try to take 30 cents out of that exchange and see their hot wallets going bust. No doubt they don't allow money out when their wallets hold zero amount of crypto Fuck today I made and lost more money than that exchange makes in a year off trading fees.

G'day!

I took a glimpse at his calculations and can say that he's about right. But not in everything. For instance, there are no coins held by real people at the time of this writing. Most coins were dispersed between addresses controlled by one single guy. I assume freetrade is the character that owns these addresses. When ur comrades realize he screwed up the distribution he will be taking the bullets mark my words.

Does anyone have a RYZEN processor?
I am curious what is its performance compared to Intel.

OK, now I have Ryzen 1700X 3,8Ghz....

Intel i7 6700k  @4,3Ghz    550 hash/s
Ryzen 1700X      3,8Ghz    800 hash/s

Smiley

Many thanks - just for clarification - is your hashrate based on the wallet or Optiminer pool?

I use Hodlminer Wolf and Optiminer pool
  8 thread  Ryzen  ~520 hash/s  ( 16 thread 800 hash/s )

I have great comfort after changing from my i7 to Ryzen. 8 threads mine hodl, and the rest supports wallets and several dozens of pages
in Chrome, Opera and Firefox and Windows 10 Smiley

Thanks and good to know.  I'll upgrade to a Ryzen instead of a 7700k.

I haven't followed HODL for a while. Is the Optiminer pool still working? I can't access it. Also, what is the status of the coins that are locked? Are new coins generated still locked for 1 year?

Thanks

You miss nothing. Mining @ Optiminer pool is still working, though it was down occasionally.  Everything else is same old, same old.......... Grin Grin
