so, you are announcing you'll build a new project focused on a different app and using a new token... without any swap

why are you posting this here instead of posting a new ANN?

what good would that do to current howl token holders?

why should we care about this new project?

is this just a new way of doing marketing?

Hi here,

To be fully transparent, we have uncertainty related to operate a swap with Howl tokens.

Currently, we are analyzing a project and building a team. I'm proud of what we achieved.
Relating to Howl, we have identified issues. These aspects have been discussed by all the team (howl holders and news members).

1/ Howl project: After weeks of work, our vision of the project we are working on is no longer focus on a chat app. As all projects, the initial idea is different from the final product.
We have great other ideas to develop and the chat feature is no longer considered as a priority. Since the project is different, we don't think we would use Howl brand. Howl is focus on chat app.

2/ Some new devs we contacted are not comfortable to work on the project because the story behind howl is complex, as you know. Even if we are not related to old dev who disappears, use the Howl name = be part of the history.

3/ Old dev tokens: For a proper token swap, we need to exclude old dev tokens. We have identified some addresses but we can't be sure he owns others and he could find a way to take part of the swap. It's a risk to take.

4/ Legal aspects: The old devs has intellectual property for howl project : logo, design, idea,.... If our project succeeds, there is a possibility he claims something. It's a second  risk to take.

5/ The project is at early stage, no one has traded current HOWL since we said we are working on a project, as we adviced. So we are peaceful for this.

We added risks and profits and we think for the new project we think about it will be better to not use HOWL brand and not operate a swap in order to start on good bases. We want to warn you about this, even if we are not ready to communicate about our new project.

We are happy to Announce to the community that we now have an android dev in our team, he's not just an android dev but a very talented one at that, he is already working with us and discussion on the development of the howl app has currently on, like I said in my previous post, soon we will be moving to a new thread and that's when the project starts fully...

What to expect in a couple of weeks/months  from now

the new howl smart contract on the ethereum blockchain

Whitepaper and roadmap e.t.c

soon, we will Be moving the discussion of this project to a new thread, everything is going well as planed, we now have a dev who's ready to get the new howl smart contract running , but we are currently putting together a proposal which will ensure successful swap, this will be released to the community soon

I dont think there is any active bounty for HOWL considering its dead. Looks more like someone is farming accounts as stated above. Somewhat strange that they should show up at this thread though, guess whoever is behind them just use dead coin/token threads because noone would be bothered (or at least so they thought).

Either that or somebody has started some bounty for HOWL but since we don't have a dev this is highly unlikely.

I am really sorry this project hasn't lived up to its potential. This was my first project I was involved from the day one and sort of wanted to see it come to fruition.

Why is this thread full of newbie bots? Last 2 pages are just full of them, it's ridiculous, they make short meaningless posts.

to some extent, you might be right cus technology is improving every blessed day, but I can assure you that the idea behind the project now has gone far beyond developing a chat app that can send tokens, we've come up with other (side) brilliant ideas which we can only disclose in the whitepaper,

And to your first question, am not sure about that yet, but the little good or yet to be good news is that we've got an android app developer who've showed interest in the project and is likely to join us as a team, though we are yet to finalize the deal, ones this is a success, we will let the community know as well... All thanks to @articrypto for his efforts in making this possible 🙆

Good token  shall mean, above all, good   app to  build HOWL  recognition and interest in community. Will that dev ( you are looking for)  be involved in developing such product? Time is flying and I think the old idea to develop messaging app capable to send tokens has lost its relevance.

I'm glad to learn that you are part of the new team. You have always been a dedicated supporter of Howl, even during the darkest hours. Hopefully you can reanimate this project.

This project is dead and has been for some time. Nothing to see here, just move on.
