Just curious here. So far, how many homeless have been catered by this project? Or that mission already disappeared? Where can we see their services to the homeless people?
Sadly it's been way too little of that mission. It fell apart with the loss of the charity node, which was our backbone in the old code. With the new chain we moved away from a centrally controlled charity fund, replacing it with an onchain proposals system.
We have had masternodes running for partnering charities, but due the low price they have not seen much benefit in it. We hope that change! DIP003 masternodes are perfect for onboarding new partners, as we can keep control of collateral while they get mn payouts and also a vote in proposals. The old fund will be used for partner masternodes also with the new chain.
Amazon Smile sent us a huge Christmas gift last year, sleeping bags, blankets, coats, pp and jackets. We delivered this to Destiny's Bridge, a homeless camp in NJ.
Sadly we have no pictures of the delivery, as Michael broke his phone way home.
With the new chain finally up and running we hope to see value rise making us more useful for charitable work. We'll now work on tools to create useful proposals as well as ease masternode setup.
