Update from the founders

What's going on behind the HTH curtains.


Charity
So far we have raised 94.5 million HTH in the charity fund.
We have started to look into grants applicable to us, and how we can utilize them in our and our partners work.
This is a huge field of work, so we will need a dedicated Grant Team for this field.

ETF - Emerging Coin Index
We are accepted into ECI30, a Exchange Traded Fund consisting of 30 equally weighted altcoins. This is set for initial launch around February 15th.
We also got Sovereign coin a spot on ECI30. We believe this may leverage publisity and interest to our projects.

Exchanges
Rocket Exchange, a new exchange made by @Arwed#4774 have added HTH. Currently only set up with ENY pairs; rocket-exchange.net/market/ENY-HTH
We have asked for a partnership with CoinPayments.net, as well as Pundi X for their XPOS System going live in Indonesia.
We have applied to Coffe exchange.
We are still awaiting reply from Binance and Tradeogre.

Development
Updated masternode script is the only development done this week.

Other stuff
Essentia.one added us to their platform. Essentia is an operating system built on a masternoded multi-chained set of protocols, connecting centralized and decentralized resources to create new powerful interactions and experiences. Essentia is available both as desktop and mobile apps.

Pecuniaplatform.io have added us to their masternode platform. The Pecunia Platform is a web application that allows you to create masternodes without having to deal with servers, terminals or Linux. This lowers the entry barrier to the masternodes for non-technical people.

Masternodecap.com has enabled HTH! This is a node monitoring and stats platform.

The only thing it is bad for is the current price. Coin is healthy, so is the chain. We are no pump and dump, but in this for long term, and early adopters deserve a good share. Halving will happen at block 1036800, about mid 2020.
Since we expect many charities holding masternodes in the future, and the coin use for the less fortunate parts of population we do need a lot of coins.

And the coin burn programme combined with donations will also reduce circulating supply... Remember we are an acknowledged public charity

It has been way too long since last update, so here it goes!


Team changes
We had to let @MineRR go, since he has been offline for months and no way to contact him.
@Recom also left us this week to focus more on his Dixicoin.
@Zeus got yellow founder colours as the rest of us, freing up the Developer role to all developers.
As you might have spotted our green Team members list have grown, and its a pleasure to include @Lamouchii, @Arwed, @Sub307 into our team.
We need more women joining us now so @FabiYamada don't feel alone

New Explorer
We have updated the explorer with a lot of new features, including a masternodes tab and coin info.
Dev/Charity masternode, Charity fund, seednodes and burn addresses are now tagged, and large movements >2.5 mill are marked red.
Burned and unmovable coins are excluded from circulating supply.
Thanks to @Sub307 for the work on explorer!

Server moves
We moved charity Masternode and the explorer to new vps held by the organisation. They were hosted on private held vps up until now.
We plan to move the seednodes and websites also before their servers are due to renewal.
The Discord is also moved to the organisation through the new user @HTH.
This frees us up from a single point of failure.

Exchanges
We applied to Binance, mainly due change in their listing requirements. Awaiting their reply.
We are also still awaiting reply from Tradeogre.

Development
Our code is updated with hardcoded nodes in addition to the seednodes. This should remove any connection problems for new wallets.
Wallets are not compiled yet.
HTH is added to Satoshilabs slips, we are now coin code 231, 0x800000e7.
@charlie137 is focusing on travis-ci build when he got time, as well as answering my many questions.
A simple PoS system is coded and ready for testing.
Coinomi is reviewing our code for integration to their mobile wallets!

Charity
The Charity wallet have grown to just shy of 84 million HTH.
@Cyberfrog has started to contact possible charity partners, and we do have some interest out there.

Mintnodes are closing down their business, leaving us with primarily MN World and CHT.
Bear markets have ruled through the holidays, and HTH price is also influenced by this.
Because of the low price CHT also disabled HTH deposits, but still serve the ones running.

Maybe this is the time to step up and start your own nodes? It is not as difficult as you may think!

I've been on their discord for quite some time and they're legit.   The go-to exchange for HTH seems to be Cryptobridge.  It's a great time to accumulate in the crypto space atm.

Can't do much about that,there have been a few trades in doge pair, btc pair only a couple... Nova is a 3rd party and their volume is out of our control. But since they recently relaunched I hope it will grow.



That's why we paid from our own pockets, so people should see its no quick money grab while we work on the fundaments needed. But, like most everything it is often two steps ahead and one back.. And the bear market last months havent provided the best conditions to keep us all motivated at all time.
Now the US org. is done, all set at uncle SAM to apply for funding and grants that way.

The term charity has been abused a lot on this forum, that is why I ask. Hopefully you'll take that term more seriously than all those money grabs. Charity is an area of high responsibility. If you have something to show I think it will be easier for people to follow you and your vision.

I am happy that such a project as HTHCoin was born! it's great when all people are United by a common problem. I am interested in the growth of the project-will it be global?

It is really the whole purpose, but I also hope for the eye-catching effect when it is all ready. We had a hope to be ready well in time upfront christmas holidays start, but there have been a lot of things which take more time than we thought and planned for.

We are already registered and acknowledged as a US public charity, currently finishing the last requirements to the U.S. Government's System for Award Management (SAM,) passed the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) validation of our Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and Taxpayer Name, known as the IRS TIN Match. Now we're awaiting validation of our CAGE Code from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code system.
This is necessary to apply for grants and other federal fundings.

Our charity will soon have its own website, which is also very close to launch. There the public may donate to charity, and it will also contain stories and other stuff for/from our partner charities as a start. Through the year(s) to come we will continue to lay the foundation bricks for a worldwide crypto based charity working towards our end goal of putting an end to homelessness for as many as possible.
This include registering our organization also in other countries, of which we are already collecting information on how to proceed. It will require more funding than we can afford ourself though, so we may also spend some time on the funding part. The charity funds will not be used to this, they are solely for our charity partners and charitable work.

What is the charity thing about? Is that the whole purpose or just an eye-catcher to get people involved?
