I'm using the same string code as you. I have been running my miner now for approx 1hr 20mins. (screenshot below) Can I ask you how long it takes for any coins to start appearing in your wallet?

It takes 3-4 hours to confirm the block, after that payouts are every hour.

Ah, thank you the reply.

Finally, here comes the day.

I knew that! I knew that!

I foresaw the result before the launch:
The dev will have fun with the BTC.
The investors will cry with the dumping HVC.

The dev called it CPU-only coins. Well, it WAS! At least it was for 10days.

the coin is doing better now, the buying depth on https://cryptrader.com/ vs the selling depth is unreal.

Definitely, should pop off any time now... lots of buy orders still stacked up.

I was getting approx 20 coins per day when CPU mining, but realised this evening that we can now GPU mine. I downloaded the miner from here:

http://cryptomining-blog.com/1529-download-cgminer-3-7-3-with-heavycoin-gpu-mining-support-for-windows/

Here is a screenshot of it running. The only thing I changed in my HEAVYCOIN-START.bat file was the HVC address

I'm getting unathorized user rejections from the hvcpool.1gh.com:5333 pool. Anyone else had these types of errors?

The same credentials work when CPU mining. Anyone else had similar problems?

I use this
Code:
cgminer.exe --heavy --vote 512 -o stratum+tcp://hvcpool.1gh.com:5333 -u wallet -p x -I 3

Here is the 'official' windows binary of beta: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dh66v8mgwuu2yv1/cgminer-heavy.zip
Note it is not supported too, as I am still working on the kernel.

'They' is partially me, as I am one of 1gh poolops. Official is quoted because it is not the release version yet, not ready to publish on the pool page. It is endorsed in a sense that for this build I guarantee it does not contain malware etc.

Hopefully your working on a version that supports older cards too (69xx series maybe)?!

I continue mining it, hope to see you in the moon!   Cheesy Grin

If Diff keeps rising and price remains same, even GPU mining won't be profitable.

Profitable ... as against electricity bill :? That's not nice at all.

FWIW, I think 'pool' and 'ops' should be separate words. Just sayin'...  Wink Grin

So if it's 'official' with ', I suppose they wouldn't endorse that one either? Wink
