No - the difficulty has skyrocketed to keep up with the GPUs, so it would be decidedly un-profitable to continue mining with CPU at this time. If you are interested in continuing to mine on CPU, check the Riecoin thread. Some highly optimized CPU miners are being released for that coin as we speak.

Anybody still mining HVC with CPU?
I have tried to get the GPU miner from a few pages ago to run with an Nvidia 570 card, but it just sits there, and does nothing. AMD GCN cards only, that means R9 or better.
It's working great on my 7950's and R280x. But yeah, no Nvidia.

Just let it sit - compiling the kernel can take quite a long time.I dont think the miner works with cuda cards.

dude that's an issue on ur end, wallets are clean
if u feel the need to double check, do an online av scan.
