My wallets connection keeps blinking - changing between no connection and 1 connection. Anyone have this problem?

Also, how far away is the block reward change? :-)

i made a SOLO guide for the built in miner.

maybe you want to use the stand alone miner so download it and compile it and just aim it on the deamon

here how to install stand alone miner

What is a good vote value to start with? I'm using the default at 512. Should I be lowering it?

current vote reward is 512-1024. if you want less coin, vote 512(default) more coin 1024
IPO holders spam 512 so they have more value for investment.

lol looks like all of you mining for free. go into the wallet and make sure your vote is set to a very low number. the range is 1-1024. I recommend a one. that's your only chance of getting coins as a small guy. I'm keeping my hands clean of this one.

the coin numbers are really inconsequential, I think personally though that its better to have a $10 note than 2 $5 notes for example. if its twice the number of coins they are worth half as much, it all works out the same in the end and 120 mil max is a small supply so there will be a lot of value in them regardless.

I would prefer to see lower block size rewards being voted for and this mining difficulty (as long as the code is not broken) to continue.

so would I

Got my nodes working. Now what are we voting at. I have it set to default @ 512.

we... miners vote for 1024 to get more coins.

they... investors vote for 512 to make their coins more value and not give us a chance to get our piece from all this. If it is hard for us to make a coins from mining then the investors that buy around 30k for 1btc will make their coins more value.

So you think from what part you are...
