The difference is that anyone can schedule a tour and visit the rigs to see them live.

50 ETH is the minimum for the presale, no minimum for the actual main sale.

A few questions recently addressed by the HydroMiner team:

Do you own the hydro power stations? If not, who does?
No, we lease them. Austria has over 2,800 small hydro power stations feeding into the electricity grid. Most of them are owned by private individuals, only the larger ones are owned by the large power companies. One hydro power station we are currently leasing is owned by a private individual, the other is owned by a small company as part of a small agricultural enterprise.

Why do they rent to us and not sell power directly?
The answer is a bit complex. In Austria and Germany, there are different incentive programs for eco-friendly power. In Austria, there are grants for building hydro power stations and there is an incentivized guaranteed energy price of around 10cent/kW for 10 years. After the 10 years expire, power companies pay a wholesale price of 2.5-3 cent/kw, and there are a whole set of stipulations, like overpayment for underperformance. This is why it is more interesting for hydro power stations that are over 10 years old to lease to us.

How are you finding new hydro power stations? Where do you intend to expand?
We actively contact owners and find more through our expanding focus. Our first geographic focus is Austria (Lower Austria) and Southern Germany.

And it is not normal for mining farms to publish their location on the internet, it is also a business secret where exactly we get the cheap power from. why you so secret, if you have protection, you don't need to bother if someone know location. Project like this need to have invest in security and others, it is normal.

Good point. We decided to show a video of one of the locations where the mining euqipment is actually inside the powerstation. In the other location(s) we have containers and we do not want to reveal the exact location of these, as it would indeed increase the risk of the equipment being stolen. However, all equipment is of course insured.
