A thank you to crazyjack for sending me a copy of the full blockchain. I had offered to pay him for it and he kindly donated it to the HYPER Fund instead.

I sent another 0.007866 BTC to the Fund on his behalf which brings the total Fund up to 0.20978703 BTC. We're already over halfway to our goal, things are looking good.

I reset BNT yesterday so its a fresh server if anyone wants to test it out and see what the game is like. I do reset it occasionally so if anyone does register to play their account is not permanent and can be reset at any time.

BNT Link: https://dknight2.com/bnt

For the other games mentioned, I'm not too familiar with how it would work. I know CS:GO allows private servers but it also costs money to download and play so that wouldn't benefit everyone, just the ones who own the game already. I haven't played Brawlhalla so not sure if its a f2p game or whats required system wise to play it.

Brawlhalla is a free to play game. The system requirement is extremely low as it is a 2D fighting game. A five years old computer with only 2 GB of ram like mine can run the game prefectly. And even record gameplay with it.

I will be trying Blacknova Trader soon. Thank you for the link.

From my short google search it seems like Brawlhalla is a variation from Super Smash Bros in gameplay. I'm not sure how a contest would work using their game though if it is open to the public and anyone can join.

I suggested BNT because we can control every aspect of the game from those who can enter to modifying anything in game to suit the contests needs.

Neat idea! However instead of playing a game which not much people is familiar with, why not play a game that more people is aware of? For example CS:GO (team-based) or Brawlhalla (1v1) - or any other popular game. This way, we can not only create buzz in the crypto but also in the gaming world - which is what HYPER is created for.

I am not sure about the legitimate of this in your country though. It sound like gambling because user put their money in and expect a return for winning.

It would be classified as a contest or a competition, no worries about any gambling laws.

As for contests using the games you mentioned, this is something I am unable to do. My server cannot handle that and the cost of a new server just for that would be more than we're trying to collect to get HYPER back on its feet and standing.

BNT is a game that has been around for 10+ years and is entirely free to play. On top of that it's resource usage on the server is currently minimal and anyone with a basic computer can play it.

If someone else with the ability to run something like that would like to do it then that would be great. Depending on how HYPER goes in the future this could be something that the Dev fund could pay for and keep going if someone were to offer to do it.

Yes. After much thinking, this is not gambling at all.

We don't need to host our own server, do we? I'm not sure about CS:GO as I don't personally play that game but Brawlhalla do not require a server at all - the game room will be hosted on the official game server. However, the thing is that Brawlhalla is not very popular and I don't think there is a lot of crypto users.

Another game we can consider is Pokemon Showdown!. A competitive Pokemon battling game. Again, no server is required as it is hosted by the game server themselves.

Personally for me, I have never heard of BNT before. I am not sure about others though.

Oh. And the link I'd like to be displayed will be http://thebitzone.com/. Thank you.

It's been mentioned a few times about rewarding those who make contributions to the future of HYPER and I have an idea.

I have a modified version of Blacknova Traders running on my server that I play by myself occasionally. What if we used it as a form of fundraising? A week long contest could be held where an entry fee is paid and at the end of the week the strongest surviving player would win the pot with a percent going to the HYPER fund. Similar to what I do on DKV2 with the weekly Knights of Old competition except the percent taken out is made available for players to exchange DP for.

I could modify it a tad bit more and create a system where people can't register to the server and can only login with provided login information.

If folks would be interested in this sort of thing it is possible to do. If the goal for donations is met then it could be turned into a weekly event of sorts to help the fund grow further for more projects.

Let me know what you guys think about it, just trying to toss some ideas out there.

Well, it is not gambling at all. I've seen some e-sport companies ran tournaments that require payment to participate. And the prize is some cash and in-game item.

I am not so aware of what is happening with hyper,so it is hard to vote for me,but most logic i see number two,can somebody post me donation addres on pm.About swapi simply dont know, but in all that matter lets do nothyper die and move step by step according to circumsteces. So no stress and nothing to hurry
Hi, i just sent you a PM about that....

I have created a BTC address for those who want to donate to the HYPER fund. I have already sent 0.1 BTC to this new fund. (View Transaction)
If you would like to contribute to this fund please send the desired amount of BTC to the address listed below and then make a post in this thread containing the name you want to use, the txid, and a personal link of your choosing that will be displayed on the new Hall of Support mentioned below.

Conditions for the release of BTC for a new wallet will be based upon successful testing of the new wallet. The duration of the test period to confirm stability of the new wallet is to be determined.

Any BTC left over, if any, once a new wallet has been created and tested can be used for other things to improve HYPER such as new projects, news, saved, invested into HYPER's price, or anything else the majority of the community would like to do until a board can be approved.

I have created a new page on the HYPER info website for the new fund as well as a new Hall of Support that will list the contributors and a personal link of their choosing. It will also display a list of funded projects.

Current fund is at 0.15192103 BTC, roughly 38% of the goal has been met so far. Thanks for the contributions so far guys.

For the ones who have already contributed don't forget to either post here or send me a personal link that you want displayed in the Hall of Support. Can be to a website you own, referral link, whatever as long as it isn't porn or anything NSFW.

There is currently 1 transaction unaccounted for that we don't know where it has come from. If you donate please be sure to let me know who you are in case the deadline isn't met the coins can be returned.

Smiley ). Snake on. Oh, yeah, promotion ends on this friday, at midnight.

Maybe a 1:10 swap would be a good idea?
Is a swap 1:10 a good idea?
Hi Jiggy0001, can't really give you a satisfied answer but frankly we are not that far yet (if we ever reach that far), first we need to collect enough funds for the new coin, then we can talk about swap. I dont want jump to any conclusions.

What ever happened to the hyperFUTURE dev?
Who would know, the fact is, that he is gone, his wallets have not changed since his disappearing. It's quite confusing really. But this also a reason why there must be a swap, to eliminate his (dev) funds (among other things).

Let me know what the donation address is and I'll throw some money at this.

I'm out of the loop. No time to read through everything. Do we have someone who is going to be a Dev and NOT be anonymous?

ANyway...cheers.

I will give a straight answer, no, we dont have a dev, there is CryptoDatabase who hold the donations fund and that's it. I am just an enthusiastic person who just acquired bachelor's degree from University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business, Slovenia (specialization in Accounting and audit). And currently, obviously, have some spare time for this to handle, whatever that is.

Hi, I voted. Wish you well.
Thx, I hope your left your DOGE address for the draw that will take place next monday. Voting poll will close at midnight on 12th March as said.

Wow - Alive and kicking again.
Thank you to all of those who are trying to revive it!!!
Woody
Yeah, that is the right word usage, still kicking somehow, I hope we are not kicking to empty spaces.

I got the mail but...

I've lost a lot of faith in crypto. I keep hoping it will take off, but I'm not sure it will. I'd like to see an alt-coin do well, but either way, I've still got my Hyper, somewhere on a HDD.

I'd be interesting if there were legit services for it, I'd like to send or convert it, but I don't think we can right? I'll check back later, it'd be cool if this got revived nicely.

-Freen
I completely agree with you and support you. When i joined to this world back in 2013 i too felt lot of trust in crypto, but we are all on learning curve, and learning is most of the time painful and time consuming process, therefore we are looking for shortcuts and consequently rely on trust and hope. We still do but as the time pases, I hope we have learnt something from our faults. You learn nothing from winning, right? Crypto is the future that is for sure, it's fast, convenient and cheap. Anyway you can sell your HYPER at Bittrex, its legit.

Hyper community have to understand what is this coin needed for. Where will it derive worth.
Just improve wallet is not enough for that.
We need some ideas how Hyper may be involved in real economic.
Correct, i couldn't agree more. You said it all. And many coins lack of that. You really need a whole package for a success and even that is not enough sometimes. HYPER is far from that (from being a successful coin), there are some games that promote HYPER (like Snake faucet, RPG game Dragon Knights of Valeria, my Snake tournament) and that's it.

what is the purpose of the donation? i received as well a pm that ask me to donate if possible, is this project being revived or what? if so what are the pla to revive this project, like future games used for this
I am afraid I have to say that this fundraising donation is only for the new coin (wallet). What will happen next is a riddle for everyone. Sorry. I cant say anything more solid than this.

Hello there, I got your message.. What exactly is HYPER's situation right now?

Whatever the case, I would suggest we take a pivot and start making use of another chain..
Cryptonit is right, and HYPER is merely a token, not a currency and I think we should use either ARDOR or NEM as he stated

the basic idea of hyper as a token currency used in games doesnt need you to run an maintain a own network
i would suggest to u aim for creative solutions like running hyper as a ARDOR childchain (the new NXT)

or even total as a token example as a mosaiq on top of NEM chain

value is created by apps and services that use HYPER

u can release the newest wallet technology and it will add no value

special because anything based on bitcoin in combination with POS is not based on new code......
To make a long story short:
1. HYPER currently consumes too much CPU and RAM resources for regular operation (running a wallet, staking, etc),
2. because of those reasons you cant even use your PC, MAC, etc. for daily usage (for example block generation (30sek/block) is a way to low, etc.). Its really pain in the ass,
3. main DEV disappearance (why, how, etc. nobody knows),
4. above stated reason are good enough for creating a new coin with the same specifications (the voting poll shows that we like staking stages)
5. after that a swap should follow...

I probably (100% sure Smiley ) missed something, Crypto Database knows a little (much) more about technical stuff.

I don't have many Bitcoin with me so I only made a 0.025 Bitcoin donation. Hopefully that will help the funding a little.
Thx, any help or support is very much appreciated.

Still alive? I thought it s a dead project
Well, we are not there yet, still trying to assemble critical pieces of puzzles together. I Hope we ARE going to find it all. If not, well at least we tried it.
