The HYPER Whitepaper I am working on will be like the Bitcoin Whitepaper and explain the reasoning and technology behind HYPER. It will explain why there is 5% monthly PoS interest for the next 4.5 years to reward early adopters, before HYPER shifts to 10% annual proof of stake interest for another five years, before settling at 2% annual proof of stake interest that is earned daily. There will also be a roadmap in the Whitepaper. For example we have developers working on source plugins for HYPER so game server admins can automatically integrate HYPER deposits and withdrawals into their game servers. This should help us reach over 100 online games and servers that integrate HYPER by the end of 2015. Minimum time to stake is 24 hours. You don't have to leave your wallet open for the whole 24 hours to start staking daily at 5% per month. After you have sent HYPER to your wallet you can then open it 1-2 days later and your wallet will start staking then. You can then open it once every 24 hours (to compound the interest) or even just once a month to earn the 5% monthly stake all at once.


This is definitely in HYPER's future. At the moment anyone can buy steam game codes 15% off at http://hyperbundle.com with HYPER. Now that HYPER is accepted on http://coinpayments.net it also accepted at over 9000 merchants online and it would be relatively easy for someone to make service like Gyft for HYPER using their payment gateway. I am sure it will happen soon and I would also offer some bounty for it.

i have a little questions about the cryptocurrencies ...

1. What is the whitepaper ? i don't know anything about it , can someone explain it please ... ? ^_^

2. What is the minimum time to stake ... ? and should i let my wallet open 24 hours to stake the coin ... ?

3. Gift cards can be purchased by Bitcoin using gyft.com , any future plan to make this option using HYPER in different website ? ( Such as PSN , xBox , Steam , Amazon , etc ... )

I really like HYPER , and really it is the good option to invest money on it ... ^_^

How true this is. I kept my GPU in good condition, bought it for mining at $300 back when BTC was $50 (could have gotten 6 BTC instead). Ended up mining under half a BTC while going after the most profitable coins, then stopped because it wasn't profitable anymore. Now I have:

$150/300 (0.5 BTC) of the original investment
0.5/6 BTC of what I could have had if I just bought BTC (or $150/1800)
A video card that randomly artifacts, white screens and tears when gaming or watching videos

Moral of the story? I spent $300 to lose half of it, have a pretty much dead video card, and could have made a LOT by just putting the cash into BTC.

Not saying don't mine, but be aware of all variables.

FWIW, that 0.5 BTC was worth $600 at one point. And while that would have been a "profit" of $300, I could have had $3600 if I had just bought the BTC (or $3000 more than I did at that point).

Are there any game servers that I am missing from hypergg.com? I think I got all of them. I will be making a renovation to the site soon.

I am trying to finish up the web wallet for beta testing by this weekend as well as a blog post about the progress and a little more detail about what have been done. My apologies for the lack of blog posts recently! After that, I should have time to work on a few other things while I work on bugs and additional features for the web wallet. The beta should be finished when all the bugs and other necessary features are included which could take anywhere from a few days to a month. After that, I am going to focus my attention on the game server plugins to get a plugin to work with the web wallet seamlessly, so game server admins can easily utilize HYPER into their servers without any necessary manual work. Mr. B won't be working on the plugins anymore at least for the time being because of classes. jollypunch is working on designing the initial UI for the web wallet and chat channels. Lots of things to do!

With firefox i just see this one line, it is like locked there. With chrome i see the second line like you, but both just flicker...
(But i don't really care about it, don't get me wrong )

Take away your mouse pointer from the animation and the black line is gone or put'm right above the "O" and see 2 lines.

The Hyper page looks real attractive imo!
I like the short animations, because they are not to expansive, but have a good flow.
Also i see nice drop-downs, everything well placed with good graphics, good work!

(one lil thing i've noticed: between "welcome" and "to" at start animation i see a small black vertical line, between "to" and Hyper" there is non?!    )

Hey no problem at all. You will want to get X11 mining software from https://coinking.io/mining-software . Then you will want to join the HYPER Multipool with your X11 miner. The multipool will mine another X11 coin automatically and convert this into HYPER for you.

X11 algorithm is much easier on your hardware and you can mine HYPER with X11 at http://coinking.io You could set that up with your graphics card and see how it goes

Dont mine with graphics cards, especially not good for nvidia cards. Running GPUs on 100% constantly is not good for the hardware at all!

EDIT: not fun when your GPU suddenly stop working.

Cool idea to make image and text color customizable by the user. I will see what we can do!

Also if you have any high quality images from HYPER supported games you like feel free to post them (PNG is best, you can screen cap PNG highest possible quality (max settings) we can work with 4k or higher too.

I agree, but I do like the idea of themes! Maybe it can be customizable by the users, so they can choose any background or font color they want.

Just read ranlo's response below. Yeah, that would work. I think it would be great to have users customize their wallets to their liking as well.

My post just above yours would fix that, though. Overlay a semi-transparent box behind any areas with numbers or text. Now you get the best of both worlds (custom background/colors, with the ability to read everything).

Sorry to say, but yellow on yellow or blue on blue, thus making in it very hard to read, is a no go area for me as a graphics designer. Bad choice for a colorscheme for the new themes imo.

I love the themed wallets, but I think they need a small box that is somewhat opaque around the numbers. They are too hard to read in some of the images, so having it boxed would make them readable without detracting too much from the background itself.

Also, are these going to be pre-set, or is there going to be the ability to import your own image?

I'll make the decision later today, but I'll figure something out indeed!

BTW, I kinda want this theme too! idk, I like that picture
