Guys hyper is not dead its just taking a break. It had a lot of hype around the fight and is taking a breather. I dont think the dev gets paid to do this work so he needs breaks too and obviously must have some other job to feed himself and his family.

So dont give up on hyper or any of the game coins, Youth are the future and youth play a lot of games and are much more welcoming to try a new game or tech or coin

I am buying and hording all the gaming coins as of a little while ago and I think it will pay off soon but right now of all the gaming coins so far I like jewels the best because it has real world uses as soon as it launches.

Yes, he's gone missing before AND come back, so if he does
come back with a new wallet it would be HUGE for Hyper, and
the price would go way up... That's what I'm hoping for anyway.

As for the RAM problem, I just run the wallet once every
week or two, while i'm sleeping.  The coins will stake overnight.
Then i join the staked coins back together with coin control, and
close the wallet.  Using blocks of about 1000 coins is good i think.

shame this one went south. Used to be a good coin with a good community. Too many other gaming based coins around now.

Damn... that sucks. I remember not too long ago watching UFC and seeing Hyper on Jon Fitch's clothes. Why did this end up going south what exactly happened here?

Technically, it can still be revived. But basically, wallet is a RAM hog (needs fixed) and creator of the coin has been away for some time now.

Does the PoS of this coin require you to actually be running the wallet or simply have coins on the network that automatically stake? I can see why the RAM would be a huge problem if the former. Did the creator say why they're leaving or just up and vanish? Nobody know them personally irl or on social media?

All PoS coins work the same. "Proof of Stake." Probably best for you to read up on it to get a better understanding, as there's way too much to type here.

And he's gone MIA in the past but not for this long.

That's unfortunate. I have no idea why someone would abandon a project mid way through when it seems things were looking positive. I mean a UFC fighter endorsing your brand seems pretty huge to me.

I have not heard of Jewels yet.  I might look into it now
First of all, I am keeping my Hyper coins - I really like them!
Hyper stakes very nicely and it has some game integration.

But as long as we are looking at other coins, I also like:

-  Magi - combination PoW/PoS (with active developer!)

-  Rubycoin - pure PoS (with active developer!)

Note:  These coins do not stake anywhere near as much as Hyper!

Ok I was just wondering. Its so quiet here lately and it looks like some good people are starting to congregate there aswell so I figured I would ask.

I hadn't proposed the offer in thread yet, =D lol

Anyways, Its been quite a while since I made an Official Post from Coin2 on the HYPER thread.

I have been discussing with JEWELS about a potential partnership and want to extend the offer to the HYPER community.

JEWELS is in ICO phase right now, but promising big things and looks like they can back their claims up.

They have 2 games fully ready to be integrated with JEWELS with a potential option of exchanging C2/HYPER for JEWELS for use on their servers.

This could be big for both the Coin2 and HYPER communities to expand farther than we have already.

Anyways don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself and don't forget to voice your opinions to see HYPER included on their games.

HYPERfuture I will be PMing you about this.

Actually I'm not sure who is in charge now, did the community takeover happen.. just been really busy and havent had time to read.. my bad..

Anyway if its not HYPERfuture who I PM'd already, whoever runs HYPER now needs to get in touch with me.

Seriously. I just pissed a bit in my pants after reading that meme and posts. Unbelievable. Great meme.

Arbin. Whats the news with Hyper and JWL?

We need someone really good at programming to make
a better wallet for us.  That would help a lot, maybe.

I'm not sure which projects are still going. HYPERfuture was using the large premine to pay people to make resources for the coin and then disappeared and the price crashed hard.

Dragon Knights of Valeria is still going though.

Dragon knights looks good. Are you planning on working with Jewels in the future on this project too like C2?

At this time I'm unable to add any more coins due to the resources required to keep the wallets synced.

I LOVE THE LIR PROJECT
Does anyone know how to get in contact with HYPERfuture or if any of other devs wanna go into discussions with Coin2 and JEWELS and represent HYPER. I am trying to get HYPER accepted on their games as a payment/payout method.

Here is one of their games that is already up and running. http://www.apexconquer.com
It has 22,000+ registered players. That could be 22,000+ people exposed to HYPER.

Is hyper still alive even?

What is Jewels and hype connection? This has been a very slow dying project. I check last time Dev was on and thought I was seeing things. Has someone else taken over this project and is there a better place for communication? Now going to check out Jewels
