Not saying it was intentional or the like, but ever since HYPER sponsored Jon Fitch, the price has started a tremendous decent down.
Been away, but has there been talk of this at all?

I think that the Jon Fitch story did not get the news coverage it was worthy of.   Irregardless of this fact, I believe people have been watching the Bitcoin runup, and have decided to liquidate some hyper in order to profit from various markets.

Odds are the money will come back in once Bitcoin hits the top.

It received some decent coverage but nothing was built off it. It was just that and nothing else. I'm not the best at marketing but it would have helped if that momentum could have been pushed further.

HYPER does need new games though, at least one other that pays you to play since HYPER doesn't have any faucets and I can't afford to add it to the faucets I run.

This fauceting.com sounds great!  I hope coinpayments gets their
wallet fixed soon.  This will be another way to earn some easy
Hyper coins.

I also hope the developer shows up with a new wallet and game.

Hi! We just launched fauceting.com, a platform where earners can get free Hyper and advertiser can create-sponosr faucets and place banner ads an pay with HYPER. We think is a good way to promote this altcoin and any service related!

HYPER isn't listed on your website anywhere, is there a certain place to look?

Ah sorry! seems HYPER is under maintenance in coinpayments.com, our payments provider.

As soon as coinpayments activate it again, will also be enabled in fauceting.com

Just a little bit of news - HYPER-sponsored retro point and click adventure game "Troll Song" won the "Best Demo" awards at last night's (much delayed!) AGS Awards 2015.  It's actually the second time Troll Song has won this award - the original very small tech demo won in 2013.  development on the full game is stalled for various reasons but I'm never going to give up on it, one day it will come out!  I am rethinking the idea of making the whole thing an episodic release though.

Really cool!  Way to go.  I look forward to the day the full game is officially released Smiley

That's great news, congratulations! There should be some big PR release or something from the @HYPERcrypto account. Need to get the word out!

When a community is solid no problem with this because the coin holder can all be driven by the community and the community will also succeed hyper

A mac wallet would be amazing for the user base.  Smiley

There was one in the past, but support was discontinued and it eventually stopped working.  Knowing very little about it, I would assume it is not too big of a job to fix the wallet and get it working again.

Yes Dragon Knights of Valeria is a great game!   Smiley
You can earn free coins - which is much more fun than clicking
at faucets.  Many different ways you can play this game, with its
constantly added upgrades and features.  I give it A++

The worth needs to go up again. Currently its pretty pointless to play for at all

Dragon Knights of Valeria uses a price based system for its Dragon Point Exchange. The lower HYPER's price is the more you can get by trading in Dragon Points.

Vice versa for when HYPER's price increases.

Folks I think it might be time to start coming up with a contingency plan if (and I'm only saying if, not saying I think this is the case or even is likely, but it's a possibility) HyperFuture isn't able to come back for some reason.

I know there's a team of sorts already which is great, but I wonder if anyone else has Commit access on the GitHub?  Does anyone else have access to update the official website?

If not... how important actually is that?  From what I've seen there are coins the dev has given up on that have continued to thrive despite the lack of any genuine software updates, because the community has continued to support it.  That's more what I see happening with HYPER but it would be good to know exactly what the situation is.

For the record - I do think HF will come back, and I certainly hope he will.  However from my involvement with indie games over the past few years (although I realise there are differences to the crypto world - there are similarities), I've seen many projects that look fantastic crash and burn because the dev team break up, or because the marketing wasn't up to the quality of the game itself.  Or simply because it was the wrong game released at the wrong time.

I think there's a pretty solid infrastructure built around HYPER now with the game servers, DVK and Snake, and what appears to be reasonably consistent trading volume.  Others will be able to look at the situation a lot more objectively than I can; I'm no expert on any level regarding crypto, and only got into it at all because HYPER sponsored one of the games that I'm developing - but I think the skill set owned by the members here that I can see are invested in keeping HYPER running are enough to take things forward.  We can't always fall back on "going nowhere" when HF isn't around - real-life issues can easily get in the way, any dev knows that, any realistic person knows that.

Sorry about this whole stream of consciousness thing, I just wanted to get it off my chest and see what others thought.

i am still here, if HF is coming back or not really doesn't matter from my point of view and i really dont understand those whose hopes and dreams put on someone else's shoulders.
