This will be a tough journey in the road to success. Africa their main target will not be easy too. But I like how the team continuous to work with effort. Today they are attending a world fintech event in London trying to establish networks with IBM, Western Union and Microsoft. Hopefully they can make a  good partnerships with those giant companies.
A year ago, such news would have raised a very good price, but the times are different now. We can only hope for partnership with major players.

Because there are too many coins out there in the market. The competition is getting tougher. Every project needs to step up. A huge community is becoming a good help. I believe Humaniq can make partnerships with big companies in the future if they continue with their sheer determination.
I am sure they will but without a big community, this will continue to be undervalued.
Only those who really research the market deeply will see the potential of Humaniq, as for me, I have invested since the start, so I will keep even the value is not good right now.
I hope this coin does not follow WeTrust, equally coins whose volume is small and potentially delisted from Bittrex.
I hope that will not happen, I believe this coin has a good development in the real world it just takes time to see this coin in the top of coinmarketcap.
Yeah, I am hoping as well because it would be another dump in my investment.
I believe Bittrex knows what kind of project that has a future potential and HMQ is making good updates although the price did not rise.
Soon, we will see an increase of volume, so let's gamble and hold here.

Not been on this thread for a while...Any update on the app and also whether it is available across the globe and if any milestones achieved by the team?
No, the app is still only available for several African countries.

Humaniq team has done lot of testings and work in countries of pilot project in Africa and experience and feedback which they got from these countries can be helpful and implemented on other more easily. I think U.N mission to deal with aids and such activities should study the business model and work on ground realities on those remote areas. Humaniq need some picking up point to have real start.
It is hard to imagine that many countries will support this project. I like the idea of the project very much, but it all depends on the regulators of those countries where this project can potentially work.

Humaniq is currently active in five countries:
Uganda, Senegal, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Rwanda. They are working on expanding to Kenya, Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, Botswana and Ghana.
Uganda and Tanzania has the population but other top populated countries in Africa should also be employed. The top countries might need some politicking so they might need some inside men to put them through. Those countries are very complicated than in the Europe and north America.  I also think Asia is part of the target market, they should also engage the community. I am disappointed in the growth of the project, I was bearish about the project but bullish about the team, Now I know both matters for prospective project.

It looks like Humaniq team has decided to go with full strength to promote the idea of its platform to bring those unbanked in the system. I like this kind of promotional film which can get good attention. After all team is promoting something which has real use case and provides solutions for existed problems. It is very interesting phase to be watched.

SGlobal goals for both business and development allow everybody to win

Humaniq is looking to forge partnerships with startups that share our wish to support the UN to advance development

Do we have to choose between lofty goals and the bottom line? Between humanitarian aims and capitalist growth targets? Or can we square the circle of achieving a flourishing, entrepreneurial world, whilst ensuring that nobody is left behind?

Humaniq believes the world can, indeed must, have both business and humanitarianism. Business as usual, where 3.5bn people are shut out of the 21st Century economy’s opportunities to earn, save and invest because they have little or no access to banking, is not an option. But international development also falls short on its own, and can benefit from partnering with business to capture innovation and new ideas.

This belief in ‘humanitarian capitalism’ informs everything we do, even our choice of name, reflects a belief in a different kind of entrepreneurialism that puts humanity first, harnessing the power of the Blockchain for good. And it is why we are seeking partners keen to offer services in the Humaniq App ecosystem, a ‘blue ocean’ for apps aimed at the global unbanked. As a startup partnering with us, you would immediately have a relationship with our existing community of users. This is a community that broke the 200,000 mark in our first few months, and which we aim to grow by one million in 2018, every one of whom will have gained access to an online identity and currency with Humaniq.

You would also, crucially, be joining a global mission to end extreme poverty, ensure decent work, and secure access to essential services. Humaniq joined the United Nations’ global drive as we formally endorsed the UN’s Compact with business to become a member of the community of companies around the world signed-up to helping to achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs). This commits us — and our partners — to support worldwide efforts to end poverty, hunger and lack of access to clean water, and secure decent work, healthcare, and other essential services

And since launching our app in the Google Play store in December, we already have a community of over 200,000 users in the African nations of Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe. Each user now is earning HMQ cryptocurrency through interacting with the App and recommending friends. The next stage is to build on this by providing our community with a variety of new services they can easily access with their bio-ID and HMQ coin in their wallet.

With these goals in mind, we launched our Humaniq Challenge, which attracted over 450 applications from startups keen to join our initiative to provide new routes out of poverty. The winners refined their cases on a mission with the Humaniq team in Kenya, and are now three promising partners developing services for our verified, coin-holding community members in the market for services nobody is offering them.

We will be accepting further applications in a second round in the latter half of 2018, and are looking forward to seeing further proposals that not only have a strong business case, but also directly contributing to the SDGs. It could be improving access to clean water, providing new employment opportunities or improving food security by better connecting farmers and consumers.

In signing up to the UN Compact, we have committed to making its principles part of the strategy, culture and operations of our company, and to engaging in collaborative projects which advance the broader development goals of the UN. We will in the autumn set out a description of practical actions we have taken to advance the achievement of the global goals, with measurements of progress.

We share the desire of the UN’s 193 member states when they three years ago decided to define the world we want, to adopt the SDGs and provide measurable targets to track how far we are going in the right direction. Partnering with us, you will also adopt these commitments and also, crucially, get access to the UN network and resources to assist you in your endeavours.

It wasn't long ago that we celebrated the first hundred thousand downloads, and today we are already at more than 200000! Humaniq is rapidly growing and it's all thanks to us.

It's interesting to see how this kind of growth is going on all through out the cryptosphere. It only can mean good things for the future. On to 500.000 downloads!
Great news although we are so underrated now, there are a lot of project that is growing because of hype, we, stay with
our mission. I believe it's not hard to achieve success as long as the team who manage this project are devoted to their mission to give banking access the unbanked.

The Unbanked: Global Humaniq Challenge
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=cUU88lIx8uQ

World’s first documentary on unbanked population.

Humaniq is excited to premiere its documentary called "The Unbanked". Even today in the age of interconnectivity, over 2 billion people around the world don't have access to financial services. This documentary shows the real faces of those unbanked people and how reliable financial services can change their future.

This film is about opportunities. What are they today, can they in fact change our lives for the better? Why do people have no access to financial resources in the 21st century? What will happen with the global economy if they get it? In what way will it affect the society and the lives of these people? And what is the potential of connecting the unbanked with businesses, startups and investors?

Today we can provide opportunities which will change the whole financial system and the lives of millions of people. We see those opportunities are real, and we want you to see them too.
We are all adults, and understand why this is happening. Someone more opportunities, some less, and some no. And all because the government or the state needs cattle that will do the dirty work, while their children will burn life in the resorts, and ride on the most expensive yachts. Therefore, people are imputed to exist, so they do not have a free minute to sit down and think, and why do I do it all? Life requires change. And I hope that humaniq will give all these people a chance for a different, better life.
