17.9 Mil to 21+ mil now in just few hours. Wonderful. People are grabbing the opportunity of 20% bonus I think. Looks like we are going to have another ICO closure earlier than expected in Polyswarm. Way to go..

Did anyone saw this? Almost $17.91M Pre Sale tokens sold in few hours. I guess this ICO will end in a week. Lots peoples are much interested in this ICO.
The interest is quite high with the telegram group buzzing with activities 7899 members to be precise messages popping up every second. I hope the Ico last a bit so i can carry out a little research first.
Do you have any information about the bonus in the pre-sale? I see the bonus for the first part of the tokens of the main-sale will be sold with a 20% bonus but didn't see anything about the pre-sale.

Nice to see that Polyswarm are planning to release their Alpha MVP at the end of April 2018, it will be interesting to see what the ambassadors and experts first impressions are.
This is a very technical project and I like how the team all have vast experience in the Anti-Malware & Anti-Virus sector, they even have Mark Tonnesen on their panel of advisers who used to to be the CIO for McAfee.

That would be great seeing it in action; I understand the Alpha is the early on version but it would be easier to get users involved when you have something they can use. The idea is innovative trying to use the community to combat them malicious viruses; the idea aside; to also get the support of McAfee is a great achievement.
McAfee's ex-CIO Mark Tonnesen will be on Polyswarm advisory board is really good news. So Polyswarm is really serious about this project and planning this perfectly.
Now this is giving me the buzz, these are the things that moves a project, ICOs require a face or a solid team to build the confidence of the community, Polyswarm seems to be going in the right direction at this early stage, the momentum should continue if they intend to create a solid brand that will last

Going quick already i have a few friends interested their debating still though as they tend to be smaller time ICO unters they rarely do more than 50$ lol, told them poly looks very good and explained the idea behind it which seems to have perked up their ears. The not allowed list is sorta funny it's basically "anywhere related to the USA"
Which makes sense given the ICO restrictions that the US territories end up imposing on the ICO's due to their "authorized investor" nonsense. The bonuses are quite short 3m for first level, gonna have to try to get my friends to get in sooner rather than later, its kind of nice that the bonus is short lived as it forces those that want best bang for their buck to put up their money early. Poly's still pretty new and seems to be moving along steadily given its first day launch of the ICO.
Yea. I knew the minimum investment would definitely caught a bulk of people. Small scale investors have no place in this yet. But the team did say something about making everyone happy, let us wait and see what they have planned

Yep its a fairly low marketcap coin, as it should be i feel based on what their trying to do, so makes sense in that way. AN the fact they've already soldso much in presale means their was a great deal of demand even before they launched the real public push on the coin. Poly kinda came out of no where to me, but the idea was something i always wanted to see attempted (as well as a few others that ideas that i'm keeping under my hat incase no one else develops them and i eventually get the free time to try to start myself LOL)
I imagine a week is a fair estimation maybe 2 depending on how stable the demand is and how much effort the team puts into getting the name out their and marketing, a lot of early demand is hedged not just in how good the platform is but on how well they are able to get the word out into the media channels (Press releases, twitter, facebook, medium, BCT bounties, interviews with third party groups, ico rating sites, etc) theirs a lot of ways to get the name out their and drum up excitement it seems poly is starting to push into the various medias more with the launch.

Is it a decentralized antivirus right? And if new threats arise, will the update be immediate?
PolySwarm is a backend for antivirus services. They, however, will develop an antivirus front end for windows (open source) that uses polyswarm as a backend and also Yes update will happen in real time as there are a lot of developers coming together for this, expect to see a really strong product.

Yes you're right, 3 hours 54 minutes exactly till it starts, I think Ganesh may be right though, if you check on the main website - it certainly has raised more since the $18M raised in pre-sale.

If the pre-sale was a success then the public sale will have a high chance to also succeed. $50 million looks like a huge way down, but we will see in time if Polyswarm can reach their hardcap.

Yeah I saw the list, I would say they are quite high-risk countries so I understand why they are on the banned countries list.
However you are right I like that the minimum is quite low and the fact that the bonus period only runs for a short period of time.

I am guessing it will do just fine not really worries. Glad to have heard about it early on. I was impressed that Steve (CEO) spent almost 7 years in Narf Industries which he founded. They seem to be quite close with Darpa so i guess that says alot about expertise.
