The world opening of Nili Lerner art installation will feature pieces depicting NILIcoin crypto-currency. The exhibition will be held at the Bitcoin Center at 40 Broad Street in NYC, with opening reception on  January 8, 2015.

The art show is featuring Coca-Cola Coin ICOKE and Disney Coin IDISNEY, which are the first of 10 NILIcoins, created as art to demonstrate and promote the idea of a decentralized monetary system based on cryptocurrency.  "The coins which I issue are tradable coins, however, these
coins are not backed by the companies they depict.  As an artist, I am using a mental
recognition of the visual image of each brand to paint a clear vision of the complex
reality I wish to represent.  It is my intention to illustrate a system which can become a viable

“We are excited to have Nili hold her world premier of her concept art at our headquarters located a few steps from the New York Stock Exchange.  The art  exhibited will be for sale using crypto-currency only.  Additionally, a proprietary blockchain technology will be utilized to track of each piece of work" said Benjamin Young of the Bitcoin Center, NYC.

About the artist:  Nili Lerner is an established painter and a conceptual artist living and working in New York City, New York  and in Tel-aviv,  Israel.  Since 2008 she has participated in projects dealing with the concept of money ,using real money and creating currency as art. In 2009 she used twitter as her medium of art, creating pieces constructed of tweets. The account was deleted after 6 months as  part of the concept. The Nilicoins project is intentionally bringing both experiences into the workspace as a visualized economy system made in real life using Money and Social Network as the medium of creation. Nili has been working as a scenic artist in the movie industry.  Her movie credits include Sherlock Holmes, Sex and the City, Men in Black, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.   
About the Center: The Bitcoin Center NYC is based in the financial district of New York City, next to the New York Stock Exchange. It was founded in the beginning of 2014 with the purpose of educating people about bitcoin and encouraging the trade of cryptocurrency. It has goals to become the first regulated exchange in the world. The center currently promotes bitcoin through a host of events, such as Satoshi Square, music festivals, lectures, and movies.

The Coca-Cola coin imagery are multiples and treated images of the company’s logos.
 The Disney coin features sequences of Mickey and Minnie dialogs as the coin presenters, and are related to well known images.

My art show " ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS" featuring  the Coca-Cola Coin and The Disney Coin will open at the Bitcoin Center in NYC on January 8th.

On display I will have at least five large pieces of each coin as well as art prints.

Disney coin  art work will be for sell only by using the IDISNEY coin

Coca-Coal Coin art work will be for sell  according the Coupon-Coin model: Using the ICOKE to buy the art you will pay 1/10 of the full price in bitcoin or fiat.

Within a week I will get the website up and will resume selling the coins.

You do know Disney has issued Disney Dollars for years now.  They have also issued silver coins as well as collector coins.  If they have a system that already works why would they adopt yours?

As for coke, please explain how am I going to use your coins for Coke products?  From what you said the only think that these coins are good for is your art.  Why don't you just stop this sillyness and issue the NILIcoin, and stop trying to profit from someone else's work.

This is one point that every economist should consider for the new textbook written for a new economy based on the free market of currency and credit providers. It is also a point that every major corporation leaders should pay close attention to.
It is in a way the point for that whole "fiasco" I doing here with my coins while irritating so many of you.

The option to have independent currency on a global scale was not conceived or possible before the invention of bitcoin. It is a viable real option now.

A large corporation which will issue its own currency will control its Own supply of credit. It will be able to afford paying its employees the highest rates in the market and still make a huge profit.

Once the corporation will issue its own currency it will capitalize directly on its own production, not subsidising the failed bank system. The market will favor these currency  for both investment and use over other currency.

If you can use coca-cola coin in every corner in the world where they use coca-cola products you will never have to pay the exchange rates, and transfer funds rates you pay in the banking system. in a global market world, this is for itself will make the currency very attractive.
Unlike bitcoin. coca-cola have a physical venue at every corner across the globe. It will be so easy to make that currency accessible to the least educated person.

And why would coca cola do this? Considering all the above, being part of the capitalist system, they just can't not do it, Coca-Cola, Disney, Apple, Toyota and all the rest.

For those of you who are concern about handling credit as not being the business of these companies. well, all the financial services will just  move into servicing these companies coins and credit opportunities. They will compete on the privilege to serve the corporate currency other than the national currencies. They too just not going the have a choice and move from the comfortable zone of the monopoly they hold at the present time.

And if you did not get yet the reason I do my coins? it is all to get the attention of these companies that are indeed very happy with the existing monetary reality but would not be able to avoid creating the change once realizing the potential for profit. That is the rule of the capitalist market game. Currency is now open to competition. finally. and we all better rush utilizing that opportunity before the existing system will collapse on us.

On his book named - The Alchemists: Three Central Bankers and a World on Fire , the journalist Neil Irwin describe  the events that took place in Jackson Hole meeting in 2005.
I dont have the book in front of me so dont have the exact quote, but the content is as follow: The Smartest most knowledgeable economist where present, yet there was no warning fore what was about to come. It was not that they were not smart enough it is just that they lack the CREATIVITY to see the intimate connection between the housing market and the finance industry.
Creativity was the thing missing.
being an artist is not about  painting nice pictures, being an artist is about the ability to see these  connection between thing, Connections that are not yet in the text books.
Im am here to help write that new textbook of a independent multi-currency economy, based on  a free market of credit providers.  And most likely I can do a better job describing what it takes then most professional trained economist who know all about the economy in a monopolized currency ecosystem, and don't even realized that the creation of credit is a monopoly.

If you had read thoroughly everything that I wrote you would have seen that I explain the 10x gap as working for my art not for the future  coca-cola company  coupon-coin. On the main page I wrote that : " In the real Coca- Cola coins case it will make sense to keep a much smaller gap between the market price and the coupon coins."
 Im not surprised that you did not see that note and your remark thus is correct. however Im sure that the lawyers on behalf of the company read it and get the company economist explain them why is that so.

I think, up to now, Coca-cola did well with fiat currency... why would them come to some unknown altcoin which value can vary between 0.1x and 10x its original value on a daily basis ?
Please you are an artist (sort of...) leave the economy to those who knows

The difference between you and the coupon coin, the coupon coin was for Coke product.  Your coins have nothing to do with Coke at all.

Coca-Cola have no clue what to do with it, but I assume that they are learning everything about cryptocurrency and the " coupon-coin" model that I present here. And that is exactly the thing that I want them to do. for the greater good of all of us. Only that most people capitalist or socialist can not comprehend the idea that we need to use the corporate power to create independent currency and credit.
Without that our economy will collapse under the weight of the state monopoly over credit production. A monopoly handed to the banks.

No C&D now and most likely not in the future.

In practical everything up to this point was a pre- pre-sell . It was crucial to the process of creating the coin to have is real and tradable as soon as it was created. and most important visible on the thread. Now it is moving into the next phase and I will resume selling the coins once that phase is ready.
