like what i said in my post you quoted, yes you need some ETH as it will serve as GAS (transaction fee). .01ETH is enough for that, it is only around 18k satoshi so it wont be a problem

it adds up the demand for ETH. i've sent 0.3 eth to myethwallet when i tried tried XAUR. until now i still can use it.
i think every transaction will cost about 0.001 eth. pretty cheap still when you send worth 1btc worth of token.

Just wanna throw in my 2 satoshis regarding the future price.

Kraken isn't known for it's altcoin volume, it's a toiletpaper(fiat) to BTC gateway. If you want to get the alt-coin crowd in on this you need bittrex or polo, they wont bother to sign up on kraken, they are too busy buying (insert pumpcoin of the week here)

The ICN supply is limited. The only thing driving the price is the existing supply and demand. No inflation.

Dividend issuance will drive demand if the index-funds are managed properly.

Dividend issuance will restrict the sell side in the orderbook as ICN tokens are stashed and hodled for dividends, this happens in legacy securities aswell, as dividend issuance comes around the price of the security starts pumping. If we are able to receive dividends straight to exchanges I dont know what will happen but I could imagine that the ICN price goes up as the weekly dividend comes around and sells off after.

Just what ive gathered, i suspect this will become much clearer as the project develops.

Poloniex also has the biggest order books. 7MM+ ETH and 80k+ BTC on the exchange, which all goes towards altcoin trading pairs

A lot of whales are not going to be so fast to move their money from poloniex. They just play whatever is offered there. Random coins like potcoin get 1000 btc on the buy side all the time on poloniex. 3000+ BTC on orderbook for FCT, 8000+ BTC for XMR. Poloniex is the only exchange where this is happening with altcoins.

I'm literally willing to bet orderbook gets 1000+ BTC depth if ICN is listed on poloniex.

It would be a whole different ballgame than this 30 BTC orderbook on Kraken.

Coin selection for pump is never random. It takes considerable planning, figuring out coin allocation between major holders, off exchange trades, a team of shills and above all lot of time (3 months to a year). Look at Waves, it is pumping all right without polo. STEEM was pumped on Bittrex too. Gulden pump on bittrex was also epic without polo.

Yes there are lot more traders on polo than bittrex and that does help the pump gain more traction but that is not the primary motivator for a pump.
