today we would like to inform you that our halving edition is finally finished and will soon be available for purchase

the halving edition will be available on the gold, silver and copper cards - each color will have an edition of 21 cards (serials from #1 to #63) and this edition will also be the first one that we will send out with our new and matching envelopes.

you're probably wondering who was involved in designing this edition... it was none other than RebelMoney, with whom we had a very good dialog during the whole time and are also very happy about the collab! Cool

on the first weekend of may we will start an auction of the gold cards for several days - after this has been completed, there will be a sales thread for the silver and copper cards

with this update, we would like to inform our customers, and perhaps those who would like to become customers, about further releases that you can look forward to in the near future.
as far as the timeline editions are concerned, we can now inform you that for each quarter this year we have the commitments of the respective crypto artists who have decided to create these editions with us and be a part of the journey

we will also be releasing a special edition each quarter - in q1 you can look forward to the 'skull edition', which we will release on the anniversary of the publication of this BTCitcoin debate

in q2 (where the halving will also take place) we will also release another special edition with our halving edition - here we were also able to win over a well-known and successful crypto artist for us Cool

we can't tell you yet which special editions will be released in q3 and q4 of this year - but they will definitely be available
and a second edition of the hat-edition is already being planned... Wink

naaah, excuse my english.. I'm sometimes very sluggish Cheesy

I was rather wondering about a (cryptographic) tool that can be used to (split) in some way the private key following these steps: The tool is gived the password and then generate the partial or encrypted Key that would be printed on the card. (It would be blind cryptographic mechanics so the generation algorithm made it without even calculating the whole private key). It can be an open source code that can be ran on user side and then just an secure encoded token is transmitted to Icarus for the calculation of the partial Key!
So obviously the partial key cannot be used alone to control the wallet, it need to be reconstructed using the pass-code known only by the user.

The concept can be extended to get implemented on blockchain and use (tokens) to master the keys ! It is even possible to work on an implementation that allow the users to own their tokens without necessarily caring a crypto-wallet! To let some choice to the users on how they want to handle this
And the tokens of course would be transferable in case the cards will be changing hands

What of an open-source tool that could use some user end token or pass-code to get for the card just a partial encoded private key.. while becoming to exchanging the card the encoded private keys could be printed with a special indicator, and buyer/seller could check the Token authenticity straight on the Tool that can show if it is really belonging to the card Auth-key ! Huh

since today you can find a new function on our website, the 'Authkey tool'. this tool allows you, who are in possession of one or more Icarus cards, to check all cards for authenticity and to see if it is an original card or a cheap fake: https://icarus-cards.eu/index.php/authkey-tool/
you will always find the respective auth-key on the back of the respective cards. here you can see an example of a positive and negative authenticity check:
