This project is insane, because the project is designed for the future, a place to meet, build or relax in an environment designed to promote forward thinking and get creative juices flowing. This is a good idea because as we know, we need all of this for the security of transactions and sharing information with each other. May all be real.

I've done a lot of reading about this coin and it seems like it might be something worth investing in. Im surprised the price is still where it's at. I like the rather low supply and the tech behind the coin. Just wondering why it hasn't shot up by now? Is there not any marketing for the coin or? I also read somewhere that transactions are super slow is this true?
The price is still low because:
- the masternode reward is very low, this will be fixed with the new wallet update;
- the pos system is not working properly;
- the mining reward is only 1 insn per block so the miners are not very happy, maybe this will change with the new release;
- and indeed the marketing is at a low level right now, but just because the reasons mentioned early. There will be a marketing campaign as soon as all things are in place and will work properly.
The tx are indeed slow, because the lack of miners.
I think there is no point to rise mining reward, we just need to work to get insanecoin to have more value then, it dosent matter how much insn are reward couse they cost more. Rising reward could deplete insane supply faster. Other way is to remove mining reward as minting new coins but share reward from darksend and insta TX for miner, but this needs actually more users who make TXes daily to be woth.
Raising the mining reward (coupled with the update) could generate some immediate interest in INSN that didn't exist before. It isn't a guarantee but there are many coins out there that are popular that do nothing except "coin" very well. They move their blocks, they pay their PoW, PoS and master node rewards and they address problems and concerns their community has. That all seems like a good starting point going forward.
The new Dev has a few ideas about which direction to take INSN... it all starts with everything working as it should.

You have a point here. That's why I said maybe, maybe a 2-3 INSN reward per block won't hurt the project, amount which can be shared between miners and mn holders.

Can't seem to find a pool. Anyone point me towards a decent one?
Don't even bother mining INSN coin at the moment. Block rewards are only 1 INSN per block. It's not worth it to mine, just mine a more profitable coin and cash it in to buy INSN. You'll end up with much more INSN this way since the price is very cheap.

For security, all updates will be committed once tested. There will also be a new github for INSN once update is released (EST) Early March.
Basically, unscrupulous coders have been attacking coins that are in the process of being updated because the new code can have problems.
Our plan for mitigating this: Don't introduce a new problem.Do our internal testing without any code avail to the public. When our testing indicates we are ready for public testing we will post the new source code and invite the public to participate in our beta.

What is your problem? There is no need to have new update every month. If you would have been here from start you could know there have been alot of procress, masternodes, veocity, instant TX and other systems they work with their own plan and release updates when they feel abou they are ready. YOur onlky decision is do you want to invest or notm for overally that dosent matter. It your decision, your gain or you lose.

Hey guys! Any ETA for the update release of the POS and MN reward system fix? It looks like this is taking ages to achieve, some people lost confidence in this coin, even the potential is great.
The update will be available early March, there is a lot of work going on to ensure security with the release it is undergoing rigorous testing.
