Could you fit anymore buzzwords in that comment? lol It's not bad news, but it kicks the can down the road another 6 months or so (Q2 2018). Thus meaning price probably going to languish, and decent amount of people will lose interest and head elsewhere for time being (or just completely sell off).
Like I have confidence in the team to deliver in the future, but it's kinda wack we expected alpha/beta release on this day... Yet instead we find out they blew up the project/team and are back at square one now. I don't do any of the slack/discord though, so maybe most of you already knew this was going to happen.
The yesterday announcement only showed that all this time they did not even have a sketch of how to develop the project, just an idea like, "Hey, man, how about creating a coin that will be the gas to pay for the VPN's?". But they do not know how to execute this, see that the whole team has been dismantled and will start from scratch. After all, creating wallet and blockchain these days is just copy and paste.
I can only speak from the time i joined the team, 5th of November, and at that time the old development team was not capable of producing a quality product ( i can even tell you that they didnt even wrote notes in English ) so we had to make a decision and we didnt felt they were capable of delivering the quality work we want and be consistent. Has you might know, its not about having the best idea but the best execution and this is what we have focused since i joined.
In terms of blockchain development, you might want to research Pallas for example and his contributions to the crypto community over the years... You might avoid some uneducated guesses and embarrassments
