Is the current insurance cross-border use? For example, I am a Singaporean, I can buy local insurance in Australia

We are in the crowdsale process, insurance product is not yet available to the general public. This year we start with car insurance pilot project in UK https://insurepal.io/roadmap, so I suggest you stay tuned and follow our development and announcements.
I am keeping my eye here as well as I wanted to keep updated on what is happening now, and to my surprise it was one of the much awaited ICO nowadays, can't wait to see next big thing to happen here.

InsurePal presale sold-out. Crowdsale starts on 16 January 2018.
We are happy to announce that we have reached our funding goal and sold out 70% (210,000,000) of IPL tokens during the whitelisting presale at 15:00 UTC. From this moment, the presale is officially closed and transactions are no longer accepted. Keep in mind, in order to participate in the token crowdsale, whitelisting and KYC will be obligatory.

Are you guys for real ? Told you to get in to presale !!!! Crowdsale is going to be nuts...

Insurance startup InsurePal to launch £15m initial coin offering

Millennial-focused insurance startup InsurePal has announced it is raising £15m in an initial coin offering (ICO) to fund its UK motor launch in the first half of 2018.

ICOs are a type of crowdfunding using cryptocurrencies, but they have been criticised by the Financial Conduct Authority as “very high-risk, speculative investments”.

InsurePal uses the ethereum blockchain as a platform for transactions. It claims to offer lower premiums for customers that are able to gain “social proof” endorsements, a system where friends can vouch for each other’s driving with a financial commitment, such as credit card details, as a guarantee.

Guarantors are then rewarded with tokens that can be used for their own discounts, sold or kept as an investment.

The ICO will close on 16 January, and InsurePal said its motor pilot is set to be followed by schemes for property, casualty, life and health.

Yeah this project is really interesting as we all know many countries supported insurance company because this is one of every people must have as they age and preparing for the future so I am confident that this project will succeed and make a big hit in the market. I'm so much excited to this project and looking forward for it's success.
More people have an interest to the insurance because they want to secured their savings, but not only the amount some of them want to insure their vehicles, house and other assets they have. They do this because is there's fortuitous event happen, it's not hard for them to recovered the value they lost.
Agree with you mate, more person are looking in advance for their future we want to secured all of our assets because no one know what will happen in the future and this project is a tool to make us secured. I am wishing for the great success of this project
In addition not only assets are they want to secured even life of the people. Some people insured their life because they want to see that after death their families have no problems regarding funeral of their body.

I agree with you, this more than assets and can help people life. This the long term investments can help you get the profit.
And for me this ICO can help many people. This the best ICO I ever see !

This video is just awesome!

When I was in Slovenia this month I met a company called InsurePal that is decentralizing the insurance industry using blockchain technology.

Their research shows that this will reduce fraud, bring costs down, and make insurance more efficient. I thought it was a super interesting idea, so we shot a quick interview at the hotel to explain the concept.

The next day, InsurePal actually won the d10e ICO pitch contest, and 4 days later they won the next contest in Bucharest, so I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought this idea was really cool!

Let me know what you think in the comments! You can find out more about their January 18 ICO at Insurepal.io

My question specifically was about Matjaz Rakovec, COO, who was investigated by Slovenian anticorruption agency, as reported by mainstread media (use google translate): http://www.24ur.com/novice/slovenija/korupcija-in-klientelizem-na-zavarovalnici-triglav.html
This post from 2011 has nothing to do with the InsurePal project. All the allegations had no epilogue or justification, only intent was discreditation. We suggest this community member to stop misleading the community.

Hey, can anyone confirm this for me. Will the price for each token be 0.10 USD throughout the whole crowdsale period? and is there a minimum requirement?..

Also will it be listed on normal exchanges for example coinbase, bitfinex bittrex. etc? For example how would i be able to sell my Insurepal tokens in future? And when will it be listed on normal exchanges. And also when its listed on normal exchanges what will be the initial price?

thank you very much in advance for answering these questions

Yes insurepal token will be listed on exchanges but the team is still on discussion on it, i think the team still focus on the pre-sale and crowdsale right now. It's better to ask the question on the insurepal telegram to get a better answer from the team. Join the telegram here https://t.me/InsurePal
