I will upgrade the seed nodes to the new version 2 nodes at 3PM GMT, so please upgrade your nodes before then, to prevent a block-chain split. Smiley

Which port should I choose to mine on 6x1070 GPU ?

Please remember to upgrade!

The highest difficulty one available, so usually 7777.
Mining already for 10-15 mins and  Pending Balance 0.00000000 IRD on mine77 pool. Is it normal?
Now it says: Pending Balance: 0.14601783 IRD Smiley Don't know if it's good amoun or not Smiley

Depends what hashrate you are mining at, mining might be a little unstable for 24 hours since all nodes are upgrading to daemon.

2.5 - 3 K hashrate Smiley

According to globalpool.cc, you should be getting around 250 IRD every 24 hours. Your pending balance will only rise when the pool finds a block.

There are lot of miners coming and difficulty has increased so much, which is good and bad both :-)

As long as the increase is due to new and different miners and not just the result of a couple people adding more rigs, you are correct it is good. What is bad is just a handful of people thinking it is better to get all the coins to themselves rather than distributing them to a larger audience. The only thing that will make the coin successful in the long run is a wide distribution.

It's just greed. Almost every single coin (and probably every asset on earth) has to suffer from greedy people. "Wide distribution" is a natural impossibility I guess. High concentration of ownership in just a few hands sounds more like human being...

Indeed. I have always been amazed at what people would do for money. It's pathetic.
Like go to work everyday for 40 years to earn less than you spend so you can retire with 40% of your salary?

...you'd be lucky to retire on 40% of your salary these days...

The highest difficulty one available, so usually 7777.

So with ~2.51 - 2.9 KH/sec hashrate staying on 7777 port will be ok, right?

Yes, it should be fine. Smiley

They are compatible, I don't actually know how to fix the issue of non-locale non static address. The only solution for them seems to be to create a wallet using "file -> create wallet" then loading the wallet each time from their directory... Otherwise i'd have to program in separate locations for each language there is. :/

The problem occurs if the user name and folder name contain a Cyrillic. If you create a new user, for example "user", then everything works. This is the problem of many wallets for Cryptonight coins.

Before you jump into listing you should fix the wallet first.

The wallet has so many issues.

Fees are not standard. Latest source fee is 0.050, while earlier version is 0.0001 IRD. Tx sent from earlier versions will fail on the latest.
Sending large amount fails. Transaction too large. For anyone with large amount try sending 2000 ird and it will fail. That means you cannot send anything big to exchange.

Compiling from latest IRD source has too many errors and has to look at xmr patches to complete the build.  These are serious issues that you cannot ignore.

Good luck.

All of these issues will be solved with the next wallet update, not to worry. Smiley

Hard fork is nigh?

Make sure you test the new wallets that they're compatible with the wallet.dat from the old! And what about the guys with non-English locale set on windows getting different addresses on each start?

How about check if non-default locale is used and prompt for folder selection where to create and save the wallet upon start then just load from that location on each start in the new release?
Surely other wallets faced this issue? Lets not reinvent the wheel if there is already an elegant solution.

DEV ANNOUNCEMENT
The new Linux daemons and Windows wallet will be released at 3pm GMT. To avoid any transaction errors please upgrade your nodes to the latest daemon as soon as possible after release.
The new daemon changes the block reward formula, so there will no longer be a large amount of blocks with a very low reward, and this also fixes the transaction size issue. However, this means that older daemons will not relay larger transactions and could generate blocks with low rewards that will be incompatible with the seed nodes.

To ensure stability, I will release these new daemons & wallets at 3pm GMT and upgrade seed nodes at this time as well, resulting in a 1-2 minute downtime for the nodes. Thank you all for reading. Pool operators this is especially important for you to ensure your pools are running on the latest blockchain.
