Hi guys!

We have just added support for Iridium to our Crypto Mining Profitability Calculator: https://crypt0.zone/calculator/!

Feel free to send us some feedback.
We are open for all suggestions

Cool

As long as the increase is due to new and different miners and not just the result of a couple people adding more rigs, you are correct it is good. What is bad is just a handful of people thinking it is better to get all the coins to themselves rather than distributing them to a larger audience. The only thing that will make the coin successful in the long run is a wide distribution.

tests are over now. I will release the next core tomorrow and if I have the time, also the wallet gui. I plan to shedule the next HF in  5 days, to give time to pools owners and exchanges to switch. I will provide also a changelog for the next release.

For miners : You can try the compatibility with your software on this test pool : https://test.irdpool.fr
You can also report witch miner works (or not) and an exemple of config/command line.

I tried xmrigCC the same result - "low difficulty share".

cryptonight-lite               http://ifotohost.com/pic/402/akjsbv.jpg
cryptonight-lite-ipbc        http://ifotohost.com/pic/402/lljehb.jpg

What miner do you use and if you can configure it?
from discord : ingnz (irdpool.eu owner) was able to mine with xmrig : here is the command line he used :

xmrig -u ir2EECF4DBG3qtxW9wj37PRahaU6pvBk9WxtUhuDJpQfGP3j9U38c8uYRqCH5wubU6auGr7zUB39PYB qx2HTcFSK1CgTtbhjA -p x -a cryptonight-lite --variant 1 -o stratum+tcp://test.irdpool.fr:1111

magic comes from --variant 1

And I am able to mine with xmr-stack latest version by taking the "cryptonight_lite_v7" algo.

Good afternoon.
For the test, took the old Xeon E5450 and the latest version of Xmrig v2.5.3 (64 bit). When mining, it generates the "low difficulty share" error.

So this is not the right algo, maybe you choose cryptonight lite witch is the not asic proof algorithm...
cryptonight lite variant 1 is also called cryptonight_v7 or CryptoNight-Lite AEON in xmrig,  CryptoNight IPBC.
but I don't know if xmrig auto switch at block version 7 because for us, this is block version 4.
Also looks like this fork is ahead : https://github.com/Bendr0id/xmrigCC and looks like this one auto detect the variant.

But I do not have the time to test all miners, that's why I provide the test pool. Maybe community can help there.

######################################################

For testing your miner software compatibility with the next algorithm implementation :
the cryptonight lite variant 1 (or V7)
Here is a test pool (running on latest core in testnet mode) :
https://test.irdpool.fr

######################################################

I added some compatible miners on the getting started page, feel free to contact me for adding more

Thank you !!! Mine is not so and a lot of coins for eight months.

Iridium has a quick emission curve incentivizing early miners. This turned out to be beneficial for the fair distribution of coins, since the first eight months were mined exclusively by home CPU/GPU miners, and there is much less block reward now to be snatched by the incoming CryptoNight ASICs. The latter will of course get forked out of the chain very soon with the next HF.

Regarding price, you have seen nothing yet. IRD will be at $0.50 in no time. The same as Masari (which will easily go to $2.50 within the same time frame). To those early miners: I hope you hodl and have not sold for pennies in the past. You will cry if you did.

Where can I see how many coins are mined?

In the explorer.

Not sure why coinlib isn't showing current and max supply. Maybe it hasn't been submitted.

I'm certainly sorry, but I did not find a real figure there? Where to look ? https://explorer.ird.cash

In any block you wish to look into. It's called Total coins in the network

Congrats, Iridium IRD is finally in Blockfolio. So far just the TradeOgre data and without its logo. Happy trading/investing/monitoring everyone.
Please add the coin inside your Blockfolio app so the app team will see that there is interest and will support it further.
