Mintpal adds coins they like, not only coins that won the voting.
I found Isis because of mintpal and I will probably buy some now.

What was the price before mintpal?

No he is not supposed to be on 24/7 but i would expect him to drop in and at least clear up the FUD, especially if hes online and active.
