I'm currently working on a walkthrough video for compiling and running the KORE testnet wallet for linux machines. I have already recorded the entire process but now I need to do the producing which will take a little time, its been over a year since i have made a video that included half as much processing as this will and im still not sure I'll be able to add everything I want (like I said it been over a year lol) Once the testnet is over I will remake the video for the main wallet release and make a few variations for those who want to run different wallets (e.g. older source wallets for some reason). I hope to get back into video making and hope this will bring back some muscle memory. I don't have a good mic anymore so the voiceover won't be the greatest but hopefully, I can still produce at an amateur level.

Once the release is out if all goes well I will continue these videos and will make a few videos on other processes, e.g. compiling for windows. the hope is that you will never have to trust something was added to the code while compiling that would harm your system or your privacy.

To ALL:
We could use a few more Testnet Masternodes asap.
MikeMike
TELL US HOW AND YOU GOING TO GET IT Wink
Im normally the guy that writes up the technical docs. I dont know how to make a masternode on the testnet, havent even tried tbh, devs made this script for people https://github.com/Kore-Core/KORE/blob/v13/tools/masternode/masternode_creation.sh
you can take a look at that and see what you think but seeing as the network has been stuck for so long you wont be able to make a mn.

So received 5500 tKore from you guys, 3000 matured , 2500 is still pending i guess, its not showing up under total amount yet (after 4.5 hours)
Should i have to send this coins to somewhere , or just leave my wallet open ? Should i staking ? Or just keep it in the wallet ?

Update ... restarted my wallet ( 0.13.0.2 ) , the "pending" 2500tKORE added to the available amount right away Smiley

Im asking help for the testnet masternode setup in the past 2 days, but did not heard any official words, none of the guide i used are working ...
was not able to set up a masternode with the newest  0.13.0.2 wallet ...
The funny thing is you are asking for the masternode, but did not provide any help with it Smiley:

NOTE:
Use RPC to send coins if you get a warning using the send tab in the GUI...
EXAMPLE:
First fully unlock your testnet wallet.
sendtoaddress jMZfW9yKwbcujSpTWQnmUn3aJkhgg2Wix5 before and after the amount of coins>

I'm still unable to send tKORE to that address

Quote
Invalid KORE address (code -5)

Note: I'm still using v0.13.0.1

Since you were sent a single large block of coins if they staked then they need to mature.
Try closing wallet and put in conf file:
staking=0
restart and let a bunch of blocks go by for few hours and then restart and try to send.

Use the console to send them...

testnet wallet synced, is up and running
if you want to send some test coins please do , wallet going to be online 24/7
jNQQrLPdJ7ddjDY2svqUZg7gXVHyjSAxnD

sent 2,5k tKORE

MM,
I've already made another tx.
Just impossible to make any tx to the address you've posted.
Neither in the console

Hey guys how you doing?,

We are very close to the fork block height on the testnet, the testnet chain will fork at block 67000 and we are at block 66800, so roughly 100 minutes from this post the testnet chain will fork.

Thanks guys for the support and by helping with the testing of the new code.

Cheers

Any special instruction for testnet masternode, or we just have to go after the  " regular " KORE masternode guide ?
How many tnkore coin need for the testnet masternode setup ?

3000 tncore received, matured, testnet wallet upgraded to "KORE Fork Testnet 0.13.0.2"

If you are using Linux distribution, you can find /tools/masternode/masternode_creation.sh script inside KORE's folder. It will make easier to create masternode, otherwise you can follow the "regular" guide.
Each masternode needs 500 tnkores.

Using windows Sad , but i have access to Linux on VPS :-)
So if im following THIS GUIDE, that would create a testnet masternode ?

I believe it should work, however let me give you some tips while creating/activating.
1) Do not stake.
2) Do not send money before activating your masternode.
