Hey guys how you doing?

We want to thank the community for the help and trust deposited on the team and also say that we are building the Kore projects together, we are doing our best to bring the technologies the team is working as soon as possible.

The Kore PoS whitepaper and Kore whitepaper can definitely point to what we want to accomplish, we want people’s privacy back and to create new crypto technologies so we can be even more free from the banks, governments and there is nothing that will stop us from achieving this and everything on the whitepaper or roadmap will be done.

The day that the financial systems around the world crumbles on a new world recession it will be the day that BTC and the other good cryptos will shine and the Kore team will be there to do it is part, Satoshi created Bitcoin on a nasty world economic recession time and i personally believe he was preparing us for the next one so we have tools and power to fight back for people’s rights and their precious hard worked savings.

Work on getting Kore on more exchanges is ongoing and as MikeMike said:

"Our goal is to not stop till KORE is listed on near every Exchange we can list on (at this time)
and continue to expand out to the the very top tier Exchanges in a driven, methodical manner.
This will be done as each piece of tech and marketing is introduced, growing the Community."

Have a great day.

Cheers.

Very good to hear that the team remains focused and determined on the tasks.
we would like to just be working on the tech, it is unfortunate bittrex decided to delist us between major releases but we are doing what we can to protect everyone's investments.

Good work on the new exchanges!

But any word from Bittrex about reversing the decision?

I tried to contact them about it, but i got the stonewall for information.

The KORE Team decision is to leave Bittrex. KORE will not (at this time)
Dox the entire Team just to remain on an exchange.

Realize once a crypto dev team is fully KYC Doxed the GOV OR ANYONE ELSE
who gets hold of that information can shut down the Development Team of any crypto they want.
This includes, CIA/NSA/FBI/Crypto mafia, or a hacker who sells the info.
This includes bugging and setting up Man-in-The-Middle attacks.
This in turn degrades the "Privacy and Security" of any coin.
It is close to a "Central Point of Failure".
When all the tech is released and the amount of people that organically are working on DApps etc.
With a wide range of exchanges and a vibrant large active Community...
Then KORE can Dox most the Team members.

KORE was attacked in the past due to our CO being Doxed.
We were hit hard in our infancy, the most opportune time to kill a project.
This happened multiple times.
We dont want to see that happen again and took steps to make sure it wont,
including implementing kill switches.

Good job team Kore,

Very good that Kore is expanding by other exchanges, this is very important to consolidate the currency.

This isn't about getting KORE on one to four Exchanges.
Our goal is to not stop till KORE is listed on near every Exchange we can list on (at this time)
and continue to expand out to the the very top tier Exchanges in a driven, methodical manner.
This will be done as each piece of tech and marketing is introduced, growing the Community.

Our next goal is to get listed on 1-2 Asian Exchanges that service:
Korea, China, Japan, Singapore.
Or at a minimal...
One that serves Korea and another China.

Great to see the hard work being done by KORE team.

If anyone has a suggestion about which exchange KORE should apply to and why, please leave a comment below!

Good suggestion.
HotBit was just moved up a few notches on my list this morning due to a Community member's recommendation.
Please post any Exchanges you actually use and are happy with here, in discord or Twitter etc.
You can always PM me as well...
It could save us valuable time sifting through the haystack.

I asked and you responded:

A Guide on how to proxy your firefox traffic through KORE's Tor implementation

Step 1: Open up firefox and click on the hamburger menu (three lines) at the top right
img snipped for scaling

Step 2: click on "options" to open the settings

Step 3: scroll down all the way and click on the network settings's settings button
img snipped for scaling

Step 4:
  • Select "Manual proxy configuration"
  • Set the "SOCKS Host" address to: 127.0.0.1
  • Set the "SOCKS Host" Port to: 9979
  • Select "SOCKS v5"
When you finish your Connection Settings should look like this:
img snipped for scaling

Step 5: Select "OK"

Step 6: Restart firefox and browse freely, while being on Tor!

NOTES:
  • Make sure you have the KORE wallet running, I myself have forgotten to start the KORE wallet before opening firefox.
  • You do not need to change any settings in your kore.conf
  • I HAVE ONLY TESTED THIS IN WINDOWS, please confirm if it works for you in linux.

Q/A
Q: Is this the Surfs Up browser?!
A: NO! This is just to hold you over until we finalize the implementation of Surfs Up browser.

Q: How can I tell if this is working?
A: there are two ways,
  • first you can open your tor.log and look for this line (likely it will show up several times)
Code:
New control connection opened from 127.0.0.1.
  • secondly, you can go to whatismyip.com or other sites similar and look at the location and IP that it displays

Q: Does this work with obfs4?
A: This uses the bridge settings of the KORE wallet as it is currently running, so if you have obfs4 configured then yes, this will work.

KOREPoS Whitepaper release:

Are your other PoS Alt-Coins actually staking?
The significance of the KOREPoS, created by the KORE Developers.

Very good job!

This new Proof Of Stake algorithm from Kore is much more fair, stable and secure.

I think Kore's Proof Of Stake is a big difference from Kore.

Nice job KORE team, was waiting for this Whitepaper, now i have got all of my questions regarding POS answered!

Those who consider staking KORE should read the whitepaper to get better staking results!

Thanks alinka1,

Appreciate your input, specially coming from you.
The KORE Team also appreciates your trust in us, promoting KORE by adding KORE info in your nic data.
 Smiley Smiley Smiley

It was exciting to meet our first objective of a secure, real, Proof-of-Stake (KOREPoS)
There was no sense adding tech to the KORE wallet specially anonymity features that hide
people potentially exploiting the old PoSv3.
We decided it was best to have all data visible for the Community to see.
Unlike all the coins who ignored or even potentially capitalized on
the fact PoSV3 (Proof-of-Stake) is inherently flawed and could even be considered a lie.
Since our research into the code revealed that there was "No Proof,-of Stake" (No coins actually stake).
Neither were there proper checks in place for those generated blocks of coins.

With KOREPoS, we now feel confident to start implementing the KORE Tech into the wallet.
Regarding Bittrex, We are taking the necessary steps to protect the long term viability of KORE, and the Projects.
Rest assured, The KORE Team is not going to disappear like so many others.
We hope to release a testnet version of the KORE, "Surf's UP!" in wallet Tor Browser in Linux and then Windows.
This will be by the time KORE is listed on at least one of the Exchanges of the 3 we made arrangements with and are integrating.

EXCHANGE LISTINGS:
1-The Same volume as Bittrex and no KYC requirements.
2-A mid range DEX.
3-A top tier DEX - (not BinanceDEX) We have plans on this one you may enjoy, but it is not the right time.
4-We are working on an additional Exchange listing that may or may not require KYC for those trading.
This Exchange will not require the full Doxing of the entire KORE Team.

As each Exchange opens up to the Community, an announcement will be made.

Thanks to those who have stood by us, donated BTC, and helped with the Testnet.
We were mostly silent after the attack, while we rebuilt the KORE Team and got to work.
I knew PoSV3 had flaws needing fixing, but did not anticipate the need to first get a true Proof-of-Stake functional.
It was imperative to ditch the old horrid source someone dumped on us, forking to our own wallet and created, KOREPoS.
The Coder Team have been very busy working on a few of the KORE Projects during this time.
Apologies for the thousands of commits that do not publicly show all the work since then.
It was a precautionary measure we deemed necessary for the KORE Projects ultimate success.

The KORE Team itself paid for a quick Exchange listing, which will most likely be the first one announced.
We have had some donations and a promise by a loyal Community Member for an additional donation.
But it might not be enough for the next Exchange listing,
and we hope to make this arrangement for the last exchange in the next 24 hours.

Donate as little or as much that you can afford.
We won't let you down.

Donation Addresses.

Shame on bittrex !!!
however somethimes bad things needs to happens in order to really great things happens!
For sure we will be moving to other exchanges and I will close my bittrex account as soon as I can buy/sell kore in any other exchange.
