It's very cool. Thank you for your service, MainCoins.

Cryptonotepool.com added it too, and has more pools for Bip than any of the others. I've been keeping a list and I told him a few he didn't have.

Looks like the idea has been around, http://moneropools.com/  Cheesy

That site gave of a virus warning and was blocked by Avast. Was it supposed to? No other pool sites have that I've seen. What it is that site?

I only got a quick view of the warning but said that the infection was javascript based.

LOL that's interesting. Mine G-Data did not warn. It is the site with list of know pools for Monero similar to MainCoins's 'Network' page for Forknote pool. It is written in different way, so I think they were enlighted by the idea floating in the air independenty.

MainCoins made nice pools stats page at his pool  which we included into our block explorer. It shows active pools publicly known with some stats like active miners, hashrate and, most interesting, - pool fees.
Looks like the idea has been around, http://moneropools.com/  Cheesy

BTW, we made a little update to our block explorer.

Hello,

I would like to introduce a.....
Thank you!

Hey, good work on your other addition, the code that does this:
http://bip.cryptonotepool.com/#network

Also, I finally listed all the working pools, including yours, on the BipCoin website and first page of new announce thread.

I have a feature request for the pool software. Can you please add commas? So for instance, this:

Difficulty: 6431316

would instead read as

Difficulty: 6,431,316

This would make it MUCH easier to read all pool stats quickly and without squinting and double checking. I recently thought a pool wasn't paying out enough because at a quick glance I thought the difficulty was 600k, when it was actually 6 million.

Commas would make it better to see all stats at a quick glance on all the stats that are shown on the page.

Might be good on Blockchain Height as well as for Difficulty. But Difficulty for sure would be good.

Another great feature would be periodic auto-refresh on this:
http://bip.cryptonotepool.com/#network

Also, on this thread I posted that your addition made it so Market stats were wrong on BipCoin pools, I was mistaken. The problem was Cryptonator started combining the price of BipCoin with the price of some other coin ("Bitpark Coin") that stupidly chose the same ticker symbol of BIP. lol. I spent the last 3 days contacting that coin (who say they're going to change it), and Cryptonator, and LiveCoin (the one exchange where the coin is listed) and coinmarketcap and other places to fix it. So far at least Cryptonator has fixed it, so it's working now. No problem on your site. Was just the timing, your updates happened about the same time this coin went live. More info on that situation here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.17307807

why not to make trade : 1 KRB = 1000 UAH [Ukrainian Hryvnia]..!!!

there's no fiat exchange yet... there is site http://krb.net.ua where you can buy KRB for UAH. We can set up such price, who is willing to buy? Grin But this site is not listed on Coinmarketcap so this trade won't put us atop  Grin

You can promote to ukrainian peoples!! tell them to use KRB as alt payment!!
if you do that..1 KRB will be more 2000 UAH!!

Cool.

You know what else would be very useful?: A site that states which cryptonote is most valuable to mine each day or each hour. current day. (BipCoin would win hands down this week, but it does change). I'm sure pool police could give  a user enough info to calculate that, but would be nice to have a listing there or on a separate site to list this for all CryptoNote sites. There are sites that do that for other coins, but often don't include CryptoNote. And I think a lot of CryptoNote miners only mine CryptoNote.

I'm going to make a private app that will make sure PoolPolice stays accurate. I'll keep my info to myself unless I see anything getting inaccurate. Will also probably make it a public site if there end up with more than one site like that for CryptoNote pools.

I'll call my app called PoolPolicePolice. lol.
Good idea, I mean most profitable coin section. ...or even separate site, domain names ideas: officeminer.com, sysadminminer.com, oldpcminer.com, cryptonotehopper.com, whatcntomine.com Smiley

What about http://coingain.com ? It has a lot of cryptos and almost every fiat in the world. If you wanna know how many Bitcoin, Monero, US dollars, Ukrainian Hryvnia, Moroccan Dirham, Belize Dollar or Qatari Rial a given amount of Karbowanec, XCI or BipCoin is worth, it's the place to go. Haven't looked into their API, but the site is a lot of fun. Have you seen it?

http://coingain.com/price/krb
http://coingain.com/price/bip
Yes I saw it. Nice, we can use their api indeed. Though we made our own calculator and price ticker based on Coinmarketcap and biggest Ukrainian bank APIs. I just did not update pool, the pool is still using cryptonator api.

Cool.

Hello,

I would like to introduce a simple onepage app at: http://poolpolice.org
The page offers some statistic about cryptonote pools. The idea came form aiwe. Thank you aiwe!

It was made with hope to make pools statistic easier to access / to understand. The main goal it to try to keep history over a long period, so one can find answer to questions like: how hight was difficult at particular day 2 months ago.

http://poolpolice.org is in a very initial phase of development, so sorry for simplicity in design etc.

I kindly ask you to take the data the site offers as data. So I don't claim something, I make no conclusions, I simply offer some free available numbers over a time. Nothing more than numbers.

I hope the site can help you to have a pools overview.

Thank you!

Cool.

Are you the GitHub user minecoins who made updates on the forknote/forknote-pool software to add your pools and update the API?

The API you changed it to, https://www.cryptonator.com, seems to have broken the "Market" section on some pools.

Cryptonator.com has BipCoin, but not XCI or KRB. It also doesn't seem to have Cryptopia, the one exchange all three coins are on. I didn't check for the other CryptoNote coins, but you should if that's you.

Probably fine to leave in your pools you put in the GitHub update (though would make more sense to add all pools.),

But probably best if you revert it back to feeding API from whatever it was before. It was Coinmarketcap, right? That's what democats is still using. And Coinmarketcap has BIP, XCI and KRB as well as having Cryptopia.

I checked this all yesterday, not today.
AFAIK Cryptonator was there initially so nothing changed. It has KRB but only gets info from one exchange, it doesn't have Cryptopia so indeed Coinmarketcap api might be better. From the other hand Cryptonator has more fiat currencies to display price whereas Cmc has only USD price. The best option would be to ask Cryptonator to add Cryptopia and therefore all their cryptocurrencies.

For Poolpolice name you have to blame me Cheesy  The purpose of the site is to police pools so IMHO the name is appropriate.  After all there is androidpolice.com having nothing in common with govs Smiley

Cool site. But really statist name. Really "square." Maybe use something instead like ComparePool.com? or PoolCompare.info? or MiningReports.biz or WhichPoolsAreBest.org or whatever. (Feel free to use any of those if you want.)

PoolPolice sounds like a site that tracks mining pools for the State.

Unless it's the band "the Police", lol, when you bring "police" to something that's non-government it will likely drive people away. Especially peopile who want to use dark coins.  Why not "PoolNark.com" if you're going to use a police name. lol. (Just kidding on that one, but it makes the point.)

Thank you, MainCoins, this is good work. Now you folks can watch pools and choose one to mine at based on more detailed info and track record. Special thanks for difficulty chart Smiley
