I love the new wallet, very slick looking. I cannot seem to find any information on how many total coins KR has, what is the total amount of coins KR will have?

LuckyLeprachaun,

The information you seek is in the new Krypton Block Explorer:

http://explorer.krypton.rocks

Right now, there are 3,008,534 KR.

0.25 KR are created every 64 seconds through proof-of-stake minting.

KR Swap Instructions

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BTnS_8YilO0HImQd41Z3F0ZmKpYvhota8MzJ8tZkPpY/edit?usp=sharing

** Krypton has not given up on Yobit although they have not replied to our repeated requests to swap KR. Krypton will not burn the remaining unswapped coins until Yobit has been contacted and agrees to swap.

From the Krypton founder :

"Krypton is planning one of the biggest projects in all of crypto.
A complete rewrite of the ETH protocol, combining the best features of the BTC protocol and also writing a new smart contract language to work atop this badass blockchain, a language to replace Solidity.
Towards this goal, I'm shopping for Tier 1 financing to hire top cryptographers/coders from universities in the IC3 program (Cornell, UC Berkeley, University of Maryland.)
I'll be meeting with the PhD candidates at Cornell during the next IC3 conference in NYC.
Krypton has moved KR from it's original ETH-based chain because it was not possible to secure it against ETH's attack issues. Krypton is still a volunteer project and does not have an army of coders at it's disposal.
Until the rewrite of KR, KR is trading as a fork of Blackcoin, a simple, secure PoS chain.
And we have a few surprises for this platform coming too."

Thank you, alexcfr, for taking the time to join Krypton's slack and ask me this question.

KR has been added to the voting list on LiveCoin exchange

https://www.livecoin.net/voting/index?vote=Krypton

This is good news and now hopefully we get enough votes for KR to be listed on LiveCoin.

Also I have sent in several support tickets on Yobit and all have not been answered and I even posted about it in the troll box and also received no answer. Lucky for me I don't have any KR on Yobit but I'm trying to help get an answer for the ones that do have KR coins on Yobit but so far no luck. Hopefully someone gets an answer soon because some people are missing out on staking plus there coins are stuck in limbo.

Hi covertress!

My proposed process for the swap is the following:
1. The only thing you need for this swap is to have a Yobit account.
2. People will create Yobit codes with their KR coins in Yobit, then they can send the code to you via email or PM, together with his new non-ETH KR wallet address.
3. You could activate the code on your Yobit account and easily see how many coins you got. The sender then cannot use those coins anymore, as funds will be transferred to you.
4. Then you send that exact amount to the new KR wallet address you received together with Yobit code (using real non-ETH KR blockchain).
The process is very easy and safe. When swap is finished, you will have all the Yobit KR coins on your account, and can just burn them somehow.

... it has to work!

Covertress, maybe thats my bad English, but it looks like I have problem explaining to you what I mean...  Sad

You do not need to deposit any coins to use Yobit codes!! they are for internal coin transfer, and can be used even when deposits/withdrawals are completely disabled.

You just need to login with your Yobit account, and go to https://yobit.net/en/yobicodes/ (or hover your mouse over the account name in upper-right corner, then click on "Yobit codes" link), then click on green "Activate Yobicode" buton, and enter the Yobit code!

To be 100% sure this works without any problems, I went ahead and created second account on Yobit for myself. Then created Yobicode using my account 1, logged out, and activated that Yobicode using account 2. It worked briliantly: the KR amount was transferred into my second account:

Please re-read the steps I posted above. Please take them seriously, I am not used to post bullshit... What I wrote there is perfectly doable!
Please let me know if there is anything unclear there. I will readily send you a Yobicode through PM, if you want to test!

I understand Yobit is not an exchange we really want to rely on, but we just cannot forget about it, as there are legit coins kept there, and part of your community has their funds on that exchange (as it was actually the first exchange for KR), and that part wants their funds out of this shady exchange! We need to help them, and I am suggesting a perfectly working mechanism to do that!

And sorry again for my bad English! I really hope I formulated it better this time...  Undecided

hi,

what about to ask other little exchanges to be added    Livecoin, c-cex, ...

Hello alexcfr,

Feel welcome to submit KR to any exchange where you would like to trade.

(I have already written to Poloniex and Bleutrade.)

Please attach a copy of this letter from me (changing the word "Poloniex" in two places.)

Hello drays,

Creating Yobit codes to send the old ETH-based KR will not work for two reasons:

1) The old KR chain is not longer running so, no ETH-based KR can be sent or received via it.
2) Yobit has their KR wallets locked for sending and receiving. I cannot receive Yobit codes into a Yobit KR wallet.

All I can advise is that you file a support ticket with Yobit. Ask them to honor my request to swap KR.

Unfortunately, I hear that many other coin wallets have also been abandoned by Yobit's lack of support. I wish that I had better news for KR holders with coins on Yobit but, if Yobit will not reply to my support tickets, the ability to swap those KR is out of my hands.

Hi covertress!

as far as I know the usage of Yobit codes have no relation to the blockchain! Those codes could be easily used to send coins from one Yobit account to another one. Even if the wallet is locked, they work just fine!

For experiment, I created a Yobit code with all my KR coins on Yobit, then retrieved it without any problem. So it works well currently!

My proposed process for the swap is the following:
1. The only thing you need for this swap is to have a Yobit account.
2. People will create Yobit codes with their KR coins in Yobit, then they can send the code to you via email or PM, together with his new non-ETH KR wallet address.

Try it, it has to work! I can send you some KR Yobit code, so you can test and make sure it works!

It's Monday morning, and Mr. Drays gets to learn an important lesson in risk management and why it isn't recommended to let seedy exchanges hold your coins.  Roll Eyes

Thanks a lot for sharing your unparalleled wisdom, Mr.Shinohai. We are amazed.

I think everyone here know that Yobit(as like as C-Cex) will lock our coins in "maintenanse" for a long, long time just because they love to stake our coins.  So let's live alone Yobit!
