Definitely exciting times ahead. Now that KR were burned, the coin will be more scare thus making its price and demand increase. That being said, I think that soon, people would become more interested into KR, and price will begin to rise.

Sure the Krypton coins got much more rare, because in fact this dev has burned the coins belonging to her community members who had coins stuck on Yobit (which is actually the first Krypton exchange if you remember, and so it was suggested by devs to trade there). So the part of the community got value increased at the expense of robbing the other part of the same community. What a great achievement! Grin

This is not a fault covertress, only Yobit, so stop writing such nonsense ...

This is not a nonsense at all, Greg. You are probably not aware of the context of my post above. Sure there is a fault of Yobit too. But with all the respect, if you care to read my last posts in this thread (specifically this one: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16596401, and few ones following it), you will clearly see the swap could have been done even without help from Yobit, however the dev has decided to avoid doing it (bringing up all kinds of bullshit excuses).
Don't be fooled by all the attacks and nonsense posted by covertress and her friends/shills, to justify their unwillingness to do that work (probably was too much of a burden for them), as all that is just a smoke to cover the obvious.
Truly saying, I think covertress was just mislead by the guys who consult her (one of them posting here periodically), but that doesn't change the fact she has screwed part of her community without good reason.

Using body parts from Krypton's Dev Lab...

@dobidoba has compiled a monster!

KR on a Raspberry Pi 3

Rasbian Linux

https://docs.google.com/document/d/15NhIZLsH_oijOTg-AKqGpnmENB0SSr3j50XXRwtHjgI/edit?usp=sharing

For easy installation, follow the autobuild script in the document above.

Thanks dev so much for this guide for setting up Krypton on the Raspberry Pi. I have been trying to properly setup the wallet before this guide was released, but had no luck since I not too friendly with doing the compile and build process. Luckily, this has save my time and work. I'm going to use this for the little project I've been working on with my Raspberry Pis several months ago. It will be of great use to the KR network for sure.  Smiley

302,831 KR were Burned

http://45.55.55.74:3001/tx/edd7c58694c2c0963d4e2459fb1a70a08957f49d2e7bf802bc7d2e395a0585aa

10.05% of all KR were extinguished.

2,709,803 KR remain.

The Block Explorer will be modified to reflect this new total and serve the correct total through the API.

KR have just become much, much more rare.

By the way, since ETH has been busy trying to resolve many of its security flaws, I think that it might be great for Krypton to be forked from the Lisk platform instead. It uses a well known programming language for smart contracts called JavaScript, and also the Lisk platform is much more secure in my opinion than ETH's codebase. Just suggesting.  Grin

The Krypton Block Explorer is being updated to reflect the total available KR supply, now that the burn has been completed.

Once this is done and the API reflects the correct total, CoinMarketCap and other ratings agencies will be contacted.

TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY TO EXCHANGE KR

Old, Proof-of-Work, Ethereum-based KR *must be swapped* for the new Proof-of-Stake KR, now trading on Bittrex and NovaExchange.

Yobit has still not replied to my 10+ support tickets, requesting the swap.

I'm sorry to say, that without access to their account key, none of the Yobit KR will be available to swap.

The KR burn will commence tomorrow, 1-November-2016.

The Gates for cheap Krypton are now open on Bittrex! Open-source tresure is available Smiley

Yes there is some cheap KR on Bittrex I was able to pick some more up at 5,000 sats and if it gets any lower I'll be buying a load more to add to my staking weight. As the more you own the better chance we have at earning a reward from staking.

Krypton has moved KR to a new blockchain.

All old Proof-of-Work KR must be swapped for the new Proof-of-Stake KR.

If your KR is on Bittrex Exchange, Bittrex has swapped it for you.

If your KR is on Yobit Exchange, standby for instructions. Yobit has not replied to Krypton's request to swap.

If your KR is in a Krypton QT wallet, you must send it to Krypton to be swapped.

Please follow these swap instructions and download the new KR wallet here:

Seeing as how YoBit refuses to respond to repeated requests to cooperate, there is little hope this will happen. If you don't own the private keys (or the people you entrusted your funds to refuse to verify) then you don't own the crypto. Simple as that.

Sure. But once again: those old OR coins will worth absolutely nothing after swap is completed. So the worst thing Yobit could do, is to dump them for 1 sat on his own market, to the people who did not realize the swap is ended! Then again, they never have done so, and even is they somehow do that (which I am 100% sure what wouldn't), there is no harm, as that market will be officially abandoned after swap.

This begs the question, why do you not put all the energy and effort you use repeatedly asking here into pestering YoBit to cooperate with covertress and the community? She has made it quite clear that without their cooperation there is no good way to verify the funds held there, as these have to be manually checked. YoBit codes unfortunately do not offer that proof. You seem to have a misunderstanding of how cryptographic proof works.

As for people that did not know the swap is drawing to a close, this information has been published in numerous outlets all over the cryptosphere. It is expected that anyone who is trading should perform due diligence in regards to their investments. If they lose out it is no one's fault but their own.

The necessity to verify the funds at Yobit was mentioned the very first time by covertress today. Before that, there were other excuses, which made much less sense. Thats why I spent all this time to explain those excuses are inappropriate.

Anyway, pushing Yobit makes no sense, as they are very unresponsive and ignorant. Tickets are hanging there without any attention. Their business model is very much scam-like, and is not legit at all.

Thats why I tried to convince the only seemingly legit party here - the devs, specifically - covertress. I have seen her to be someone who cares for her community, and works hard to make her project better. I thought she will do everything in her power to organize the swap, including the Yobit swap, as this affects the perception of project very much. If investors and community members who have coins on Yobit, will be neglected and abandoned by the Dev, it will be bad for the image of the project, and will make many people complain, and become 'haters', instead of being supporters.

That was/is my motivation.

Do you really think the legitimacy of coins on Yobit such a big issue, so is makes it justified to abandon the legit investors there!? How many coins will be 'not legit'? Do you think this could be such a big amount, so it will make any difference? Why not to try saving you investors and followers, even if few thousand coins will be 'not legit'?
Also if Yobit closed their wallets before the cut-off, doesn't that prove all the funds there are legit? Apparently, it does, and you know that.
