Cannot believe how low this coin has dropped in recent weeks. Pick up some more surely it cannot continue at this low price for much longer ??

This usually happens in the beginning of a good coin. Just buy while price are cheap and when the times comes for it to shine, you'll see great results. This is a really good coin, it's just that people haven't realized its true potential yet to start pumping it. I would give Krypton at least a few months or a year to give it the chance to grow and become one of the best alt coins around. With its limited supply, it is bound to increase in price soon (at least I think so)  Cheesy

This is always the case with good coins, we just have to be patient.

The Krypton QT Linux Wallet is ready for beta testing.

(1) download linux wallet from :

https://mega.nz/#!qE5nlSKD!YLqzVwC9tEDRgGWTrdow5_XiKJ2CQv_J0_Mccrk8fmk

(2) from terminal, type these instructions:

chmod 775 krypton-qt
chmod +x krypton-qt
sudo apt-get install QtQuick

(3) start GKR

If you haven't already, compile GKR from this source: https://bitbucket.org/gkrypto/go-krypton/

Building GKR requires two external dependencies, Go and GMP. You can install them using your favorite package manager.

Once the dependencies are installed, run:

chmod +x build/*
make gkr

To start GKR run:

build/bin/gkr

(4) Now you can open your Krypton QT Linux Wallet from the linux gui by double clicking the file, krypton-qt.

*This process will be cleaned up for distribution.

Thank you, @paolo77, for compiling this KR QT Linux Wallet. Cool

Great to see that there is going to be hope for Linux users. I have been a little away from Krypton for a few days, but now I am up to date and I can see that there is some good progress. Hopefully with the stable release of the KR wallet for Linux, I would be able to get in sync with the network in no time under my spare Ubuntu laptop. This will be something very interesting to try. I'll check this beta version myself and share my experiences about it.

Also, KR becoming a PoS coin would definitely be a huge start if it happens to implement it before ETH or any other clone does. I'd bet that there will be huge interest into Krypton once this happens. But still, I can't rush development so it is only a suggestion.

Krypton is a really good coin, and sometimes I wonder why is it so cheap? Anyways, I'll be looking forward for more great updates like this.  Grin
