Strong men also cry.

The Big Lebowski: What makes a man, Mr. Lebowski?

The Dude: Dude.

The Big Lebowski: Huh?

The Dude: Uhh... I don't know sir.

The Big Lebowski: Is it being prepared to do the right thing, whatever the cost? Isn't that what makes a man?

The Dude: Hmmm... Sure, that and a pair of testicles.

Lebowskis are now listed on coinmarket cap, check it out!

 Cool

That's so awesome that LBW has a higher market cap and individual coin value than Spots. I don't have anything against Spots (I'm holding some) but wasn't Spots launched the same day as LBW?

Nice work.

I believe it was the same day or a day or two apart. Lebowskis are doing well to this point, who doesn't love the dude?  Cool

Awesome news! Donnie, God rest his soul would be proud.

I have been talking up LBWs on the Cryptsy chat and directed BitJohn to the thread, he seemed impressed about the fact of no premined coins.

LBWs need to get to Cryptsy to determine the real value, coins-e just does not have the support yet.  Cool

We got stronger buy support building up on coins-e, Mine some lebowskis @  http://litepool.eu/lebowskis if you can Smiley

Indeed mining has been going well today, with a higher sustained hashrate than in the previous days. This brings the dude some relief since his car was stolen along with his tapedeck and creedence clearwaters revival tapes.

It's been a busy night for me but I will be more active tomorrow.

Well, there won't really be a shopping cart until Stage 2.

This is not your typical Marketplace and it will be a first (as far as I can tell) amongst the Bitcoin community.

My idea is to take BTC and all Cryptsy tradeable alt-coins from the beginning, but it's not really a "click here to buy this" type site.

Please, don't even think about creating an e-commerce shopping cart from scratch. Look for shopping carts that can be adapted to use Bitcoin and from there it ought not be too hard to adapt it to Lebowskis. If I were to do it I'd build it all with Drupal and have everything under one roof so to speak. But 1) I don't think I can convince my landlady to accept the rent in Lebowskis and 2) it's probably easier to take something not quite as flexible—like existing shopping and forum software—and cobble together templates for each that look enough like each other that they'll pass for being the same site.

Just my LBW 0.02.

PHP & MySQL I am good with... Python not so much  Undecided

Well I know HTML and CSS and some Java.... so hopefully I can pick this up.  Unfortunately I just don't have a whole hell of a lot of time to program.  I spend most of my days in Excel and in-house accounting applications for my job Sad

Goonies never say die.
My developer friend seems to not be interested in our marketplace idea anymore, so I picked up some Python, PHP and MySQL books to see if I can't figure it out.  I might be too old to learn new tricks though.
