So, is it KIA in crypto wars for good? Any chance of survival?  Undecided

It's not going to magically fix itself.  Unless a developer steps up and offers a new client with some fixes.  Then no, no chance of survival.

Any news for LBW?

It doesn't look good.  I lost my entire stash in a fork a long time ago...  and it's been nothing but bad news since.  We have a man down...

So is this coin officially dead?   Cryptsy has flicked it and on the other exchange it is trading for less than the cost of the electricity to check the exchange rate...
Coin is not dead as long as blocks are flowing. It dont care if you could mine it in profit.  Smiley

Trouble is that blocks are flowing off in different directions every time this coin forks.

Im connecting to peers but, It won't download block information. Forks can be detected by official checkpoint. Any Ideas on how to download block information. Any Manual commands?

Code:
getblockhash

Followed by:

Code:
getblock

Will show you detail from the block in question.

For specific transactions in the block:

Code:
getrawtransaction 1

Just updated lebowskisd. Balance dropped by about 25%, and block count changed from 108k to around 97k, before climbing again to 112k with the debug log filling with-

Code:
ERROR: mempool transaction missing input
ERROR: mempool transaction missing input
ERROR: mempool transaction missing input
ERROR: mempool transaction missing input
ERROR: mempool transaction missing input

There seems to be a fundamental issue with this and other *coin clients, that it cannot detect a fork and alert the operator. How many people are still mining on the wrong fork, blissfully unaware? Sad

Even something simple to warn you that 30% of your peers have a vastly different block count would help a lot....

But for now, even though I'm running an updated official client, I can't seem to sync fully.

yeah, so my balance from getinfo and getbalance is considerably less than the sum of amounts when calling listtransactions.  I posted about it in detail here:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/lebowskis-lbw-balance-not-matching-transaction-history-why-309139

So does anyone have an explanation or similar experience?

why don't give the link for windows qt?

We're working on the Qt client for windows, but I'm having issues compiling the dependencies.

Merry Christmas

Glad to see someone else got to this. I had the forks revolved up to about 60k but got distracted for a few days to come back and find yet another. Just not enough time

Please read if you're going to mine Lebowskis!

The Lebowski client code has been updated to correct the self-forking problem.

If you're going to mine, please:

To check your Qt client's version, click the 'Help' menu and then 'Debug window'.  In the 'Information' tab, you should see a Client version that begins with 'v1.1.0.0'.  Version 1.1 has the latest updates.

There are a few nodes that clients can connect to.  The node at 74.207.225.170 is running the latest updates.  The other nodes may have the correct blockchain, but they might not.  To see the nodes you're connected to, open the debug window, click the 'Console' tab and type 'getpeerinfo' in the command input box.  You should only connect to peers running version 65000.  An earlier version is not the latest code.

To connect to a specific peer, update your Lebowskis.conf file with 'connect=74.207.225.170' instead of 'addnode'.

Finally, check out the new Lebowskis block explorer at http://lbw.blockprobe.com/

Lebowskis are really the only 'fun' coin, let's get it back online!
