Has anyone managed to get a 2mil masternode working yet?

I followed the guide here (using exactly 2mil Linda instead of 30mil), and the masternode appears to be running but I'm not seeing any reward payments (although it has only been a couple of days so far).

I'm a complete noob when it comes to running masternodes so maybe I'm missing something .... how/when should rewards be received?

Worked perfectly for me with 2 MNs, one has already gotten nice rewards, but please make sure you understand the bandwidth requirements of a Linda masternode which can easily go up to 50-100Mbps!

Look at these posts< maybe it will help

So is Linda Masternode collateral 2M or 30M?

You can have masternodes of either 2M or 30M coins. 2M starting at block 378,230 (will take a few more days, we are now at 374385). Until then both 2M and 30M Masternodes are non-functional as far as i can tell. You can activate them, but they dont pay anything...until then stake your coins so you get staking rewards.

Just to clarify, only 2M MN's are supported in V2. You will have to split your 30m masternode into multiple MN's.

We have a great user-compiled guide of setting up masternodes here: https://lindacoinfaq.wordpress.com/2mn/

We also have official telegram and discord for instances you might need support.

horrible community.... wish I never bought any.. was excited but EXTREMELY RUDE COMMUNLTY quickly shot down any chance of me wanting to be ANY part of this. WOW is all I have to say.. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Don't feel uncomfy, my friend. Lindacoin will have it's time in the sun. It's a normal cycle.
Hold on.
.      At least you caught on! Their big talk of progress got me too. Linda has lost 90% of all time high ..I'll ride this shit coin all the way to zero ..as I scream to everyone else to run from Linda!!!

Yes, Linda has lost some of its value, but I think it`s good time to buy in the dip, and the ATH you are talking about really shows its great potential

Oh is your problem solved? Glad I could help, Lindacoin must be using other portnumbers now. Smiley Smiley
yes, that was it.
the port numbers have not changed but i had to renew that firewall rule obviously because the path of the folder with the linda_qt file has slightly changed i guess.
unfortuantely this issue didn't show up in the firewall the first time when i checked.

Yes I misread your post, but I have edited my post at the last lines, correcting myself, sorry.
Either way, try to come with a fresh installation. I don't know what configuration you have but I think it's the dev's work to not let the users tinker too much with sys admin commands.

I agree. The wallets and coins should be accessible to everyone, that's the dev's work.

I would say, try resetting your firewall rules, but since you've already got one connection this can't be your problem.
I think you are fine if you wait, to let more connections populate like the guys at the Feathercoin problem told (check my previous posts).
Running an old wallet version won't work.

You can also try rolling back your system to a date before you installed Linda (Windows + R key, and enter rstrui.exe in the box that opens). See if you have restore points.
There are many ways but Linda coin is a working product. What we see now is, if you look at the wallets, they gain massive interests by their masternodes, and they sell them.

There's a dude or girl with 50 000$ worth of Linda. I wouldn't have invested so much. To each one his belief Smiley

Resetting your firewall can be done by opening up cmd.exe as Administrator and typing the command: [ netsh advfirewall reset ], without brackets that is.

Good luck, but I think you have to wait till the connections populate, since you already have one connection. All addnodes are listed at Cryptopia.

edit: oh i saw you have NO single connection, reset your firewall and uninstall, making sure you backed up your wallet.dat

You can also approach the same using the Windows GUI by entering 'firewall.cpl' at the Run box (Windows + R key), then choose: Restore defaults.
no, i said that i don't have one single connection.
meaning that i have zero connections.
you have obviously misread my post.
i don't know what is the problem with the new wallet version.
waiting is not the solution either.
i have already checked my firewall too.
but thanks for your help anyways.
maybe someone knows the correct solution for this.

edit:
i checked my firewall again and now it turns out that was indeed the problem.
the firewall rule was for the old linda_qt.exe.
although it has the same name it needed to renew that rule for the new linda_qt.exe file as well but didn't show that the first time when i checked.

I think Linda devs should solve the wallet problems so that anybody could use it easily...

Also there are withdrawal problems at bitflip and yobit exchanges, which MUST be solved asap...

These will be the next good news for the LInda coin, and we are looking forward to hear that soon

for me the new wallet doesn't work on win10.
i did everything like in annekes instruction but it just doesn't connect to the linda network.
the thing with the bootstrap worked so i have only 11 days left for syncing but no matter which and how many nodes i add into the linda.conf i don't get one single connection to the network.
anybody else with this problem?
or anybody knows a solution to this problem?
otherwise i would need to install the older version of the wallet again because that one worked just fine with lots of connections.

edit:
by the way, does it matter which linda.conf you use?
i have noticed that the linda.conf contains a rpcuser number and a rpcpassword.
now should i use the linda.conf from the fresh installation or the one inside the bottstrap (or even my old one from the older wallet)?

i have also noticed that there is a strange file called .lock (0 kb) in the roaming folder.
maybe this one has anything to do with not connecting to the network?

What is the minimum investment?

I think you can stake any amount at your wallet, and you must have 2M Lindas for masternode

Yes, it's a hell of a volume coming down. But Lindacoin works.
I get my stakes and I will not panic, and sell with profit. As usual.

This sort of information I gave you now should be included within LindaCoin's main website. It will solve all problems.

1 - Backup wallet.dat to somewhere safe (very important for your coins!)
2 - Wipe out your old Linda installation
3 - Reinstall the new version of Linda
4 - Put your wallet.dat from Step 1 in place
5 - Download latest bootstrap and put it in place
6 - Put a lindacoin.conf in place (get the addnodes from Cryptopia)

Or else, you'll end up with mixed up Linda versions on your harddisk.
This is the way to do it.
