You will need to backup your wallet files from CLI to somewhere (i.e. USB drive, just in case) then just copy-paste these files into your GUI-Lines wallet and try to launch it. Basically that'll do.

I'd rather estimate this proportion like 99/1 and yes, Lines is among this 1%. We are not here to ship junk. Lines are being steadily developed, you will see it's worth mining/buying.

I had a cli-wallet installed. I installed the gui-wallet today and now the cli-wallet is not synchronized. Can I solve this problem somehow or have my coins lost?

Lines are becoming more and more widespread among the crypto-community since the trading volumes are increasing and the Lines ecosystem is being steadily developed and improved. Lines are gaining trust and people are investing into putting more hashing power for mining Lines. This is quite a normal situation imo. I'm 100% sure the network hashrate will return back to it's previous low values but this will definitely not gonna last for too long. Hurry up to mine and consider increasing your hashrate.

Don't think that a fork of a coin is a bad thing...start from there and develop...you need a list of forked coins??

If I am not mistaken, there isn't a remote node solution implemented yet.
However it is in the forthcoming dev-plans.
