I have gotten back to Litecoin after a while,  it seems the decision was right atm.
LTC on track hope it keeps upping in the same phase  Roll Eyes

It has been a good week for Litecoin. Its price went steadily up along with other major coins. LTC is a coin I have always held in my portfolio as it offers great trading possibilites and profitability.
You can trade it, but unfortunately LTC/BTC is bleeding out. Its not for holders.

Clueless!
Off the subject of wallets / other stuff. What's up the difficulty going up 50%+ (5m to 8.2m) in the last 60 days. Yeah the price is up, but not that much.
Thinking someone has some new gear that they are now mining on for themselves that we won't see at the "retail" level for a bit yet.

-Dave
Can be some old farm stopped cause the price too low and now restart because the price is in target

Not sure about elsewhere but a lot of LTC scrypt miners have gone off in the USA.... a lot of places it is 10c kWh..so I knew some that were squeaking by renting on miningrigrentals.com

at that price. But Summer rates kicked in at the end of May (midwest) and the prices could go as high as 17c kWH...so as soon as Summer rate day hit...I'd assume you'd have seen

a huge dump off of LTC network and other scrypt networks. Or at least that is the complaint on 'old' ASIC equipment every summer in the USA. Again, that would be my guess.

Clueless!
Why they are migrating to BitGo wallet? I feel that step is illogical for them. IMO, Foundation that wish to develop the unique ecosystem must definitely to  be stick to the own wallet.

important info in the same paper:

"Starting Mimblewimble testing

Litecoin recently posted a progress update on the cryptocurrency codebase’s Mimblewimble integration, claiming that a testing framework had been built and codebase integration had started. According to developers, Mimblewimble should be running on the Litecoin testnet by the end of the summer".

too little too late and bad timing with coniv-19 pandemic...what has it been 2 years since they proposed this? Great ideas, but dev wise little progress.

Also can't they do more than ONE modification of the code? Imean other 'tweaks' vs just all in on ONE major fix for years?

Also the usual 'lack' of PR and push compared to other altcoins.

Not too impressed.

I also would be with my OWN money that 'testing' will take another year.

sheesh.

Brad

Brad, I am not convinced by your arguments.

however for the ONE modification I am not sufficiently aware.

I think that some altcoins have room besides the King BTC.

To sum up my frustrations above in a more 'overall' level...lets just say that the amount of PR and or hype and or 'movement' of more than one coding issue with improvements

on LTC to me leave a lot to be desired. With the exception of SegWit most stuff like the non-ever Debit card and mimblewimble seem to take years to get up to snuff or moving.

Other altcoins just seem to leave LTC in the dust. So ..not too impressed as of late, as LTC is still 'assuming it is silver to LTC gold' when the sh*tcoins BSV and BCH have seemed

to take over that spot, at least price wise. Also more than 90% of LTC development has been just copying BTC code..I approve of mimblewimble...but the lack of any urgency or speed

in getting things out or even getting info out on this coin is lousey. Indeed most NEWBIES know much more about BTC and BCH and BSV these days and when I try to explain LTC

they are less than impressed.

Just saying, you'd think for a coin where the founder is known this project could get a bit more 'traction'

also, above has been this way since I first started mining LTC in 2014...

end of rant

I think they are going to change the wallet because the hashrate has gone down too much. As it is now 51% becomes attackable because the miners have shrunk, this means that any technological evolution of the miners could cause serious losses.
