Hello can you tell me when Litecoin will become anonymous? The protocol will change then?

At the current rate for the start of testing will be in the Fall of 2020 I heard maybe...so probably not implemented until Fall of 2021.

Be aware LTC projects are always 'years' behind...so it could be much longer! Sad

Clueless!
I'd like to know 'how' legit this story is on a LTC Card.

I mean is it just a 're-vamp' of the attempt 2 years ago that became 'vaporware'?

https://bitnewstoday.com/news/litecoin-issues-a-card-with-a-feature-to-convert-ltc-to-fiat-and-launches-ballet-litecoin-block/

I signed up for the site...shows a lot of info if it DID work but none of it is ready yet..just a template.

Anyway, what do people think? Or is this just another 'stunt' like Mimblewimble which is in the 'SomeDay' camp of LTC projects far in the future?

When Smart contracts on Litecoin, and Can I use LTC card to pay in a normal shop?
By the way i can see a massive price increase in the future maybe even 130$ but we need some big news from devs.

I am looking at the cycles from Spring 2018 to now . A new rise seems to be there within a few weeks. I feel like the MimbleWimble implementation coming September will help to put the price up.

What is MimbleWimble >>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MimbleWimble  (Blocks in Mimblewimble have all their constituent transactions aggregated into one giant transaction, erasing the original transaction boundaries)

I thought only the TEST will be up in September...the actual launch will be well into 2021 I'm afraid....so don't expect much with LTC seems the norm. Sad

I think that a pump for LTC is in the air.the price has been fluctuating between 39 and 42 dollars for quite some time this assumes that either there will be a tremendous dump or a violent pump.

Below is an unsettling article I agree with today at 7/9/2020.

Pretty much nails what is going on with LTC depressing though it may be.

But, IMHO, they need to step it up..merge with Cardano or other coins...or something.

Mimblewimble progress is 'snail-like', was originally Fall 2019...we will be lucky to see something by Fall of 2021.

Anyway, I too wonder why I'm in HODL mode sometimes...Stuff has to change IMHO.

I have gotten back to Litecoin after a while,  it seems the decision was right atm.
LTC on track hope it keeps upping in the same phase  Roll Eyes

It has been a good week for Litecoin. Its price went steadily up along with other major coins. LTC is a coin I have always held in my portfolio as it offers great trading possibilites and profitability.
You can trade it, but unfortunately LTC/BTC is bleeding out. Its not for holders.

May Mimblewimble Progress Update:

* Blocks with mimblewimble transactions can now be attached to the chain.
* Work has started on the mempool logic.
* Tentative plan shared for the remainder of the work necessary to launch the testnet.

Off the subject of wallets / other stuff. What's up the difficulty going up 50%+ (5m to 8.2m) in the last 60 days. Yeah the price is up, but not that much.
Thinking someone has some new gear that they are now mining on for themselves that we won't see at the "retail" level for a bit yet.

-Dave
Can be some old farm stopped cause the price too low and now restart because the price is in target

Not sure about elsewhere but a lot of LTC scrypt miners have gone off in the USA.... a lot of places it is 10c kWh..so I knew some that were squeaking by renting on miningrigrentals.com

at that price. But Summer rates kicked in at the end of May (midwest) and the prices could go as high as 17c kWH...so as soon as Summer rate day hit...I'd assume you'd have seen

a huge dump off of LTC network and other scrypt networks. Or at least that is the complaint on 'old' ASIC equipment every summer in the USA. Again, that would be my guess.
