Can someone complile minerd for 64-bit Windows with AVX support please?
Believe me I've been trying, you can ask g2x3k about my complaints about Linux on IRC.  Tonight I'm going to install Fedora with dual boot instead of running it off of a VM and see how it performs vs what's already out there.  If there is a big difference at all I'll go back to fighting it to make a windows binary.

miner for osx?

You can build it yourself on OSX it works well or depending on your machine I could send you the minerd I have compiled for my machine it is 64bit binary compiled for machine that supports up to the sse4 instruction set. You can find if yours uses sse4 by sysctl -a |grep cpu.features in a Terminal window.

can you upload the file to rapidshare or something similar?
i have a q6600 and osx lion.

What is the fastest miner for LiteCoin right now? If theres any difference, for an AMD system
k10fam with sse, 64 bit
where would i find it?
http://www.wuala.com/jbw9/pub/Bitcoin/Tenebrix/miner/win/test/minerd-amdfam10-sse4a-64.exe/

It even beats every Intel miner that's out there on Intel processors. Credit to twobits.

Wow. Thats like >50% faster on my Core2 quad, assuming the reported hashrate is correct!
Is there a linux version of this?

Why am I only getting rejects? All "booos", no "Yay".

Which miner currently would be recommended for a machine with core i7 running WinXP 32bits? (don't wanna compile it myself, never had much success compiling complex things out of the 'net)

Download Windows client: https://github.com/downloads/coblee/litecoin/litecoin-windows-client-0.5.0.4.zip
then download miner: http://content.wuala.com/contents/jbw9/pub/Bitcoin/Tenebrix/miner/win/minerd-corei7-avx.exe?dl=1

rename it to minerd.exe and put into Windows client folder.

If it doesent work, download this one: http://content.wuala.com/contents/jbw9/pub/Bitcoin/Tenebrix/miner/win/minerd-i7.exe?dl=1

rename it to minerd.exe and put into Windows client folder.

Due to the rumor of a possible 51% attack, I decided to lock in block 23420 in the latest code. Everyone, please grab the latest source or download and use this Windows binary:
https://github.com/downloads/coblee/litecoin/litecoin-windows-client-0.5.0.4.zip

Chances the rumor is probably unfounded, but better safe. Plus if you haven't downloaded the recent clients, you will find a cool mining tab waiting for you to play around with.

Windows daemon: https://github.com/downloads/coblee/litecoin/litecoin-windows-daemon-0.5.0.4.zip

Mac client and daemon: https://github.com/downloads/coblee/litecoin/litecoin-mac-client-daemon-0.5.0.4.zip

It was hard to build a statically linked QT app on the Mac, but I've got one confirmation that this works. If anyone runs into missing libraries errors, please let me know.

Ok, I have Tenebrix-miner running now.  The output says:

Code:
thread 1: 13695 hashes, 3.07 khash/sec
PROOF OF WORK RESULT: true (yay!!!)
thread 0: 10568 hashes, 3.09 khash/sec
PROOF OF WORK RESULT: true (yay!!!)

In my ozco.in account, it says my worker has a hash rate of  4KH/s

Is this reasonable?  Shouldn't it be in the MH range?

Whole LTC network has 11MH/s at the moment - and it's lot of miners
You cannot compare BTC and LTC hash rates. Different algorithms.
For LTC is way more complex  Cool

And you can have ~20% more hashing power on Ubuntu live 64bit Wink
Where can I find instructions for installing/using a miner with a Ubuntu live CD?

Which CPU do you have?

Anyone can explain how to build litecoin in ubuntu 11.10?

Did it on Ubuntu 11.10 4 days ago so its instructions just for it:

1.Open terminal
2.Type: sudo su
3.Type: apt-get install gcc libcurl4-nss-dev automake autoconf git make
4.Type yes if asked
5.Type: git clone git://github.com/Lolcust/Tenebrix-miner.git
6.Type: cd Tenebrix-miner/
7.Type: ./autogen.sh
8.Type: CFLAGS="-march=core2 -O3 -Wall -msse2 -msse3 -msse4 -msse4.1 -msse4.2" ./configure
9.Type: make
10.Type: ./minerd --algo scrypt --url http://lc.ozco.in:9332 --user camopejb.1 --pass 1234

If you don't want to type you can do Copy/Paste in terminal with right click ;-)
I think he was asking for instructions for the client, not miner.
