Just use the artforz cpuminer. The git url is somewhere in the tenebrix spew. I caved and re-enabled hyperthreading, playing with flags some more has me at 3 khash/core now on my i7 920s @ 2.66 ghz. Definitely no hexacore phenom, but still usable. 10khash from a [email protected] too! I'll be charging out of the gate with about 40 khash.

Looks like I'm not alone here. Tenebrix hash rate just dropped by 50% according to allchains. Hopefully solidcoin will be sucking up people's resources so the first few retargets are smooth-ish.

I would like to suggest a 50/50 coin that divides the work 50% GPU and 50% CPU. You would do double SHA2 first then send it to the CPU for scrypt. You could maybe even do this twice per hash. This one could be called heavycoin. This should take AWS out of the picture.

Will be laughing when he launches 600 EC2 instances against this POS and kill it just like Failbrix was killed. TBX is the only CPU mining coin ATM. Along with SC2 maybe. He has 1.25 million TBX so I think he wants Litecoin dead.

Noe - I had to change the default user/pass in the "mine X threads.bat" from user/pass to miner/litecoin - those are what appear in the sample file.
